Autumn Leaves : Cabin 5076
Sail Date: October 2018
The cabins are very well maintained. they are small and do not accommodate a small scooter. I had to leave it in the hallway. Appreciated the plug ins for my devices (ipad, phone).

We stayed in room 6017, a balcony room on the Upper Veranda deck. It was perfectly situated for viewing the canal and its feats of engineering as well as the breathtaking jungle canopies filled with toucans and parrots on either side. Our friendly room steward Gede and his assistants did an amazing job of servicing the room in a timely manner and leaving all sorts of whimsical towel-animal creations for our 8-year-old to enjoy. On the canal tour day, we even had breakfast delivered to our room so that we didn’t miss any excitement. The furniture in the rooms was new, the doors and carpets all appeared new, everything was well-maintained, and the beds were more comfortable than ours at home. Our plumbing had to be serviced once, but it wasn't because we were experiencing any problems. They just needed access to our room, and the problem was resolved with zero inconvenience. It was quiet at night, and I didn't have any trouble sleeping, whereas on my last cruise with Princess, I could not sleep at ALL due to noise. Read Less

Preferred the tub/shower combination over the shower stall I've experience on other ships. Cabin was located on port side near the stern. I prefer this location since it provides quicker access to the lido restaurant and main restaurant. Read Less

The cabin was adequate with twin beds and a love seat couch. There was enough space for everything but I would have like to see more drawers than cubby spots for storage. Plenty of hangers in the closet. The room was kept very tidy, asked for ice once never had to ask again. The balcony had two standard chairs and tiny table. The temperature in the room was well controlled. The bath room had a cabinet, I really thought the tub was not needed. Must be difficult for people with mobility to step over and into it. Shower curtains got to go. No plumbing problems, no odors no excessive noise. We were right by a bank of elevators that nicely took us to the back of the Lido and back pool. Read Less
