A few glitches : Cabin 127

Quiet and we don't mind being on first floor. One caveat - during approaches/leaving ports they lower these steel doors to compartmentalize the ship on the first floor in case of a leak so that it only floods one compartment. This ... Read More
Quiet and we don't mind being on first floor. One caveat - during approaches/leaving ports they lower these steel doors to compartmentalize the ship on the first floor in case of a leak so that it only floods one compartment. This means you can't get to your room unless you go up to the 2nd floor and then down the crew stairs. Read Less

Very comfortable beds and adequate space for the two of us. Wonderful shower. Air condition stayed max cold the whole time and even then was warm at times. Others in our group were fine so it is probably stateroom dependent. Weather in September was nice but can't imagine how it might be June through August. Hopefully this will be rectified as ship heads to the yard soon for some rework. Spotty TV reception. Awful internet...save your money and get the $10 per day deal with your carrier. Far better internet and since you sail at night but are in port during the day, works just fine. Read Less

The cabin was very spacious; plenty of storage space, plus a seating area. We had breakfast in the room a couple of times, and there was no trouble fitting us and several plates at the table. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and surprisingly spacious, the toiletries were high quality. Overall it was very pleasant. The engines are toward the rear of the ship, and the passenger rooms don't go all the way to the bow, so our room was very quiet with little engine noise and few people passing in the hallway. I've researched beforehand which cabin would be best. I chose 104 because of previous positive comments. It was the perfect size, had port hole windows and little noise. The location was good as well: close to the stairs and we didn't mind having to walk up 2-3 flights of stairs - the exercise was welcome :) We will choose the same cabin on future voyages. Read Less
