Veranda Stateroom (AX) Cabin Reviews

Surprises Everywhere : Cabin 4042
Sail Date: October 2018
The cabin was not that spacious but I found room for everything. I think the bathroom should be a bit larger. I would also like to see glass shower doors instead of curtains. The water can easily get on the floor.

Rooms were very accommodating. Storage of luggage was under the beds; two closets were provided, both sufficient enough for three coats, six slacks and six shirts. Cubby-shelves in closets as well as under wall desk provided extra storage for more intimate attire. Bathroom was larger than expected. Sink, toilet and shower were located together behind privacy door. Rooms were attended to at least twice a day. Bottled water was replenished daily. Private balcony was larger than many hotels! I'm not exactly sure the number of our cabin...it was right across from the check in desk. The cabin was fabulous! Great window for natural light! plenty of room and absolutely spotless! great bathroom...I just love Viking! I'm just not in to traveling with 3,000 of my closest friends....Viking makes traveling soooo fun! I feel like a superstar when traveling on those long boats! Viking treats me like i'm the most important person to them. Where they find all these wonderful people to run their ships is beyond me! Most stores can't find one totally awesome employee...they find a whole boatful! I so want to go on one of the longer cruises. You guys are the best! Read Less

It was in the very middle of the ship and when crossing the lakes the floor moved in the middle. One side up one side down.

The cabin was very comfortable and we loved the veranda. Sadly we experienced a great deal of vibration and noise as we traveled in shallower water. For a light sleeper this was difficult. There is probably nothing that can be done about that so I would definitely choose a different cabin. Our maid was exceptional and our room was always beautifully clean. Read Less
