Cabin quality: Cabin is old & dated compared with Seabourn & Regent ships. We had a shower that leaked water under the shower glass door, and we had to put a small towel onto the floor to stop water running. A minor inconvenience, and we reported it for correction. An old DVD player was there, but we never used it. The old sofa was frayed and well past its use by date. Our Seabourn Quest cabin was a step-up from our Regent Mariner cabin, which is a step-up from the Silver Shadow suite. The Quest was built in 2011, the Silver Shadow in 2000, so quite a difference in age, and it was very obvious. So don’t expect the latest & greatest on Silver Shadow. Read Less

Cabin was worn out. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Bathroom was nice with plenty of storage for toiletries. We had to ask for shampoo and soap replacement. The ships usually give you plenty but not on this ship.

Nearly everything is quite worn and showing signs of major use; there should have been major renovation years ago. Had to have sink drain repaired and the control of cabin temperature was awful. Carpet had a number of stains.

Good cruise : Cabin 643
Sail Date: August 2017
Cabin was fine, tv remote was way too complicated. Not easy off/on. Internet service was difficult to navigate and we overheard people all over the ship asking why they couldn't log off so their minutes just ticked away.

Always perfectly cleaned and ready for occupancy. The new carpeting is nice, but the cabin could use a more comfortable couch and chair for people with back problems.

Very spacious suite located midship on deck 7; very quiet location. If you plan to do your own laundry, note that the self-service laundries are on decks 6 and 8.

Our suite was very spacious and had a great amount of storage space (which was very much appreciated). The bathroom was quite large as well, and the same goes for the living area. The beds were of a normal size for a cruise ship (twin), and my feet did hang off the bed. The furniture was perfectly fine, and in good condition, but the suite could probably use an update in a few years. Read Less
