Chose this cruise (Rome to Miami) for the ship and the TransAtlantic experience. The food, cabin staff and dining staff service were absolutely first rate. This was our first "all-inclusive" cruise experience and we found it very relaxing not to always be reaching for your cabin card. The entertainment was generally above average, although the magician did a juvenile routine that clearly had not been vetted for adult cruisers. The folks at the destination desk left a lot to be desired, both in terms of knowledge of the ports and excursions they offered. The end result was a lot of confusion as to what excursions were appropriate and where exactly they went. The enrichment activities were not effective even though they were offerings from Smithsonian. The topics were either too narrow and esoteric or of such limited interest that most passengers watched the tape of the presentations so they could turn them off when they got bored. Read Less
