As the creator of  Suite Guru  we would appreciate your comments about the Penthouse Suite vs. F1 Superior.  I realize these are just personal preferences but we always prefer one big open room rather than two separate rooms and we don't need a butler.  Also the Penthouse balcony seems to have a chaise longue and two dining chairs as opposed to two more comfortable club chairs - at least in videos.  Thus, we can't find reasons to upgrade even though we have been offered a good price.  Perhaps there are other advantages to the Penthouse category that make it worth the price differential.  Any observations are most appreciated.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner, it’s been busy here lately.  Anyhow, I think you made the right choice - I’ve only sailed in D’s and F2’s on Explorer (identical layout to the F1) so I can’t speak to the difference in these and the PH cabins but from reviews I’ve received and posts I’ve read the PH cabins don’t have a good ‘flow’.  Can do without a butler I think an F cabin is the best choice of all the non-named suites on board.

Welcome to Jim and Wendy!  Has anyone checked the Meet and Mingle--seems like if everyone signed up for that we might get our party hosted by Regent after all!

I have contacted our CruCon ta to tell them to take the flight off so I can book my own so now have a bit more work to do with this trip as that takes your transfers off too....but they wanted 175 a person to do a deviation of day coming back so there you have that!

I don't swim so Jim and Wendy I have no idea on Snuba or helmet diving except my sons did the helmet dive and it was ok.  Maybe someone else could tell you on here who has done it.

I am dealing with a flash flood overnight not predicted at all so have lost a few things in our lower level since it seems after 35 years we have a problem...uggg….

Happy Labor Day to those in the States and yes I will be laboring it looks like!  Barb & Rich

Hi, all.  Wendy and I are booked.  First time Regent Seven Seas.  Have mostly been on Oceania.  Last one was Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.  But tired of those long flights.  So looking forward to easy relaxing ones to and from Miami.  Mostly interested in snorkeling (used to be a SCUBA diver).  Never done SNUBA nor helmet diving.  Anything worthwhile with those?

Bill:  I came pretty close to going to Furman U in the 70s.  Beautiful campus.
