Odyssey of the Seas Overview

Odyssey of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's second Quantum Ultra-Class ship, will launch in the fall of 2020. Unlike its sister ship, Spectrum of the Seas, Odyssey will sail from the United States. Despite carrying the "ultra" tag, the ships are only a tiny bit larger than their Quantum class fleetmates - 168,800 gross tons versus 168,666 gross tons.

Little is known about the Quantum Ultra Class, though we do know Spectrum of the Seas will have a key-card access, all-suite complex with a private swimming pool and restaurant. Spectrum will also have the Sky Pad virtual reality trampoline experience, though we don't expect to see that on Odyssey.

The ship is under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
