We boarded the ship in Dubai. We had a mini-suite on the 11th floor (Baja Deck) and it was spacious and very comfortable. We had anytime dining and the food in the main dining room was average at best. We ate at Harmony specialty restaurant and that was a big mistake. I usually enjoy Chinese food but I didn't like Harmony food at all. While the service was excellent, the food was barely edible. We also ate at the steakhouse (The Grill) and the food there was very good. I had the lamb chops and my husband had the rib eye--both were really good. Since we were never able to get a seat in the showroom, I can't comment on the entertainment. We went 1 hr. before the show but there were no available seats left. Princess needs to deal with that problem because many people were complaining about not being able to see a show for the entire cruise. All of our excursions were from the ship. They were well organized and interesting. The guides spoke fairly good English. Service throughout the cruise was excellent. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and efficient. I'm not sure if I would choose to go on the Majestic again. I enjoyed the cruise but I think other Princess ships are superior. Read Less

Having cruised twenty eight times we are season cruisers. Picked this trip for the sea days, and some nice weather. Ship in good condition, entertainment average, food ok, cabin steward as always very good, made use of the coffee card and the $5 cocktails. Most staff very friendly, easy to obtain a sunbed. Very disappointed to hear lots of people on board without the appropriate visas. Having checked with Princess via telephone , and confirmed in cruise personaliser you must have a visa to visit India. We did as we were told and purchased two visas for £400, only to find out lots of people were let on at Southampton and Dubai without the appropriate visas. I checked with the Indian authorities onboard and they confirmed you needed a visa, so were these people onboard illegally? Will try and get a refund from Princess for a visa we did not need.
