Port of Beaufort

Located on South Carolina's Port Royal Island, Beaufort exudes Southern charm. The city's historic district is lined with stately antebellum homes and massive, moss-covered oak trees, making for a scenic stroll or carriage ride, sure to charm any type of cruiser. You can even tour a historic plantation. To see the historic homes from the water, visitors can book a kayaking or fishing trip along the coast or simply spend a few hours enjoying the pristine beaches.

Adventurous cruisers can opt for any number of attractions, from surfing to taking a biplane tour. Of course, no visit to Beaufort would be complete without a stop for some authentic Lowcountry cuisine and fresh seafood on the waterfront.
