Port of St. Paul

St. Paul is the capital of Minnesota and located on the Mississippi River. It's one of the famous "Twin Cities," along with nearby Minneapolis and gives river cruisers a chance to get a taste of the true American Heartland. St. Paul is also home to a number of modern attractions like Science Museum of Minnesota, which houses dinosaur specimens, and the beautiful Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, which features gorgeous botanical gardens. There's even some stunning architecture in St. Paul, like the beaux arts Cathedral of St. Paul and the State Capitol building.

Nature lovers should head out to Minnehaha Park for a picturesque hike up to Minnehaha Falls. Those with any interest in St. Paul's native history should be sure to check out the burial mounds at Indian Mounds Regional Park. If you're visiting during the legendary Minnesota State Fair, it shouldn't be missed.
