We had so much fun in terms of the entertainment and other facilities in the cruise ship. The food was amazing and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The ship was very family friendly. In addition, I really liked the idea of free of charge of childcare until 10 pm and even the after hours had a very reasonable price until 2 am. Although the group activity centers only had up to 17 years of age, they should have until 20 yrs of age. Suggestions: > Consider putting USB port charging station in every cabin. > Consider taking off Jamaica as one of the port destinations of Oasis of Dreams there was nothing to do around the area and the beaches specifically Montego Bay doesn't look good at all. As well it is not safe to go and tour around. >The group activity centers only had up to 17 years of age, they should have until 20 yrs of age. Read Less

We decided to go on a cruise for our honeymoon and we booked through our travel agent. It was a decision we did not regret. As soon as we arrived at the port there was a queue to get on board. Even though it was quite a large queue it moved fast and we were only 20-30 minutes before we were onboard the ship. As soon as we walked in we were blown away by the royal promenade and how big it was. As it is our first time on a cruise we can not say for sure that other ships don't have this but from talking to other people on the cruise they all said this was the largest one they had seen. After a while walking around we decided to go to our room which was on the 7th floor. The room is small in width with only a foot or so wider than the length of the bed but you really don't need anymore. It is plenty big enough in length as it fits in a bathroom (small) king size bed and couch before you reach the balcony. The room was spotless and we had a greeting sheet with the firsts days entertainment written on it. We got one of these every day left on our bed after the cleaner (who was very nice and friendly ) cleaned the room every day. We got the drinks package and we are glad we did. It might seem a be a bit expensive to buy every day/night we easily had between 15 - 20 cocktails between us so it worked out very cheap. they don't go spare the alcohol in them either so it is good value. All the pools were very clean and had friendly lifeguards. The entertainment was very good but was aimed at an older generation. I respect it as most of the people on the cruise were over the age of 50. This was the only downside. We are in our early 30s and I would think that at least 95% of the people on the cruise were in the 50s or older and from America. While I have nothing against Americans it does get overbearing after a while. I would still give this cruise a 9/10 and the only negative I would give it is the older generation that was on it and the fact most of them were American ( which we found annoying) I will defiantly recommend that people go on the cruise but I might suggest going to the mediterian instead Read Less

perfect ship, perfect time, perfect price. There is nothing more than you can ask for. The Oasis is a Happy Ship and everyone on board makes a great effort to make sure you are having fun with no issues. Food is excellent. A good variety to choose from . Activities aboard ship has something for every one to enjoy. Production shows were superb. Way above average. Facilities on board were clean .I always take an Inside cabin which suits are needs and this one certainly did that. I Also take a scooter with me which fit into the cabin easily. Overall give it a 5 Well worth the money. I would certainly recommend this ship and this Cruise lines for any and all with or without family. Just an added note. This RCL, in particular, has a super way of rewarding all of their returning customers. You really get a big bang for your money. Read Less

This was my first experience on a cruise and I will do it twice a year, cause you get the treatment of a King. The food on all the fine dinning were the great. The room service Valencio was the best attendance I ever had. All the bar attendance were great except one in Bolero, she wasn't passenger oriented and gave the others a bad rap. The pool were great and for me the best were the public bathroom always clean and supplied. Security was the best and we didn't hear of anyone getting lost on the ship. The salons, disco and all the entertainment place were great and under control. I would recommend this cruises to my friends and family. Just keep up the good work and I will see you on November 2017 and on December 2018 on the new ship. So get better and be successful on what you do best. Read Less

We mostly chose the cruise because we had not yet been on the Oasis and Port Canaveral was convenient. Having read MANY Cruise Critic reviews we were concerned about the food and the crowds. Firstly the food was much better than expected. While mostly subjective, we have come to expect food that "is as good as you can get when serving 6000 passengers." We were pleasantly surprised particularly in the main dining room. The food was prepared well, served promptly and tasted better than we expected. We also ate at Chops and Giovanni's. Both were excellent as we have come to expect from the specialty venues. One dissapointment was Sabor. On the Freedom we had an outstanding experience at Sabor's but here on Oasis it was not as good. Some dishes were over done, others bland. The ship's condition was excellent! It did not feel crowded at all. Even the elevator access and availability was good. My wife is in a wheelchair and this has been a serious concern in the past. But again, it was not an issue on Oasis at all. The staff were all pleasant and professional. The entertainment was very good though we couldn't possibly see it all. Though special mention must be given to the Ice Show which was spectacular. Read Less
