Oasis of the Seas has a great crew. the ship needs refurbishing its 9 years old. saying that I still had a great time. My only beef is that when I travel alone they set me at a table for two and I end up eating alone. this has happened over and over again. if i want to eat alone i would stay home. when I book my cruise I ask for early dining and a large table. I did not like the show CATS and walked out after 30 minutes. a half hour later i saw a line 9 persons wide walking out. The comedy show was very good along with the water show, ice show come fly with me. Come fly with me had props that i have never seen in a broadway type show. it was great. I have a suggestion for RCL open up my time dining and start a large table for those of us that are single. PS being diamond plus made boarding easy with a small line. Read Less

This was our 4th trip on Oasis; we LOVE the ship and love that she is in Port Canaveral. Still little things about RCCL that bother me as a Diamond. There continued use of HIDEOUSLY loud and hardly understandable announcements from the cruise director, are flat-out Painful! And, the bands at the pool are also so darn loud you cant even talk to the person sitting next to you; We do NOT like it! Otherwise, we had the best cabin steward ever in Miss Grace, she was awesome! Only had dinner in main dining once- Ate at Giovanni's (SUPERB FOOD AND SERVICE; our server was Sala- Just awesome), we ate at Izumi, EXCELLENT and finally at Chops and had maybe the best steak of our lives... We also LOVE the fitness center and my wife had 2 spa treatments and thoroughly enjoyed. The add-on of 18% is a little irritating, especially for my purchase of the Thermal Suite at $119 for the week and then 18% for WHAT??? All they did was hand me a locker key and 4 of the 6 days I went, they gave me a faulty locker.... Bad. Because of the Hurricane Irma, we did not port at San Juan or St Maarten and we did NOT even get off at Cozumel; been there so many times and not impressed. Hardly got off at Falmouth but loved a beach day at Labadee, Read Less

Royal Caribbean is our favorite cruise line. Being on the Oasis was a pure joy. From the start of boarding to the end of the week we were enjoying all the amenities the ship could offer. I bought the liquor package and it was a good deal. The shows were top notch with entertainment especially the Headline and Aqua shows. The ports were good we had fun touring on our own and learning a little more about each destination. St. Maarten is our favorite spot and we enjoyed our time there but it did rain and we didn't get a chance to go in the ocean. St. Thomas is a very friendly place where liquor and jewlery items are very inexpensive but with high quality. The Oasis was a Hugh ship and it accommodated the 5500+ passengers with no issues. I would recommend this ship to anyone who is a first time cruiser or cruisers who look for fun and travel. We would surely cruise e Oasis again. Read Less

Great times with great music. The Rocky and The Rollers groups were excellent, Freddy Cannon, Gary Lewis, Gary Puckett, The Crystals, The Tokens, The Elegants, Johnny Tillison, Lennie Welsh, The Dovells, The Crests,The Buckinghams lead singer et all GREAT ENTERTAINMENT, congratulations to Rocky and AAA. Bathroom in our balcony room was SMALL. Bed and closet are side by side ...very close. Waitors and room steward did well and were quite helpful. Meal variety not extensive in the Main Dining Room but the extra cost specialty restaurants were exceptional. Drink prices were excessively high..$9.00 for a beer and $14.00 for a mixed drink either slowed you down or cost as much as another person on the cruise. The drink package was $56/day which said you had to have seven beers to break even or a least five drinks per day. We all slowed down on our consumption. The crew was ill as Cats was cancelled due to four cast members being unable to persform. What the flu like virus was, it spread to our group and we lost four people for three days plus sleeping the cruise away. Upon return to port there were also a number of people ill. Total was: flu 12 and 8 marginally ill. Maybe the ship could/should have done something. Would we come again? Yes but we'd be sure to have a flu shot and some meds to combat any medical issues.
