This is our 2nd time on the Oasis. This cruise was tied to a "Rockin the Caribbean" event featuring singers and bands from the 50's and 60's. We really enjoyed the ship and entertainment. The crew was very helpful and attentive. There is so much to do on the ship it is hard to take in all the events. The only negative is the stage show "Cats". This show was slow and hard to follow. Even the comedians made fun of the show. We had a ocean view balcony room which is great. The Ports visited were interesting. We have been to Nassau several times so we just visited some of the shops in town. On St. Thomas and St. Marrtean we had excursions which we booked thru "Shore Excursioner". We have used this company on other cruises and find them to be reliable and fair with the price. I would recommend the Oasis for an enjoyable cruise. Read Less

I chose this cruise as I wanted to experience a huge ship- and it did not disappoint me. While there were over 6000 passengers-the only time it felt like that was during boarding and disembarkment. Even then, the process was relatively smooth for the number of people involved. The gem onboard was the Vintages Wine Bar! The sommelier staff was engaging, knowledgeable and a wonderful asset to the place! The wine list was impressive. And on the first day our group individually described to the sommelier our likes and preferences in wines and asked for a recommendations for each of us. All choices for our group of 6 were perfect! They held 4 wine tastings during the at sea times-French wines, Caymus wines, Italian wines, and a ‘special vintages’ tasting session. All 6 of us attended all of the tastings and were delighted and learned so much about wine and proper food pairings. Additionally, they held a Wine and Food pairing dinner that was a reasonable cost and I can’t say enough about how fabulous this was. It was a very limited number of people for the pairing dinner-and that made it all that much better! You had full attention of the sommelier staff as well as the the kitchen. They made adjustments to menus and assisted with selection of food to fit our individual tastes. It was truly an amazing experience. If you enjoy good food with wine-this is one location you can’t miss! Rohan and Josten are well versed in wine and food. Nemagna and Amaury were wonderful complements to this team! You won’t be disappointed. Next, the beach bungalows for up to 8 people are SO WORTH the cost of $250 for your group! Not only did it give you some distance from the crowds- but you had your own personal attendants to assist with drink procurement and information, and there was respite shade when the sun became too hot. Food in the Windjammer and dining rooms was good, but not great. I have had better on other RC ships. If you are interested in how the ship operates ‘behind the scenes’, the All Access Tour was made for you! All baked goods are prepared and cooked onboard, just the room to prep the meat alone is impressive. The laundry facilities are incredible and massive. And of course the tour of the bridge is the highlight. Your tour guides uses a special microphone to headsets for each person so that you never miss his/her information. Security is tight on board-and it just adds to the feeling of safety for all passengers. The ship itself is just so impressive. The working carousel, Boardwalk, Promenade and multiple theaters just add to the entertainment value of the ship. There are 2 Flow Riders, a short zip line, and lots of pools so that you never feel like your are crowded no matter where you are. Shows and entertainment are spectacular. The jogging track and fitness center are sure to please the active individual. Read Less

Customer service and majority of staffs working on the cruise have bad service. Extra charge was put on the account. We travel in the middle on high season some of the on board activity was cut back due to under staff and other activity have to wait in line more than 1 hours. Buffet staffs are not friendly. Got 3 main pool was small with so much people water was so cloudy. Main dinning service was great with very friend staffs. Entertainment was good but make sure you make reservation otherwise you have to wait in line and still might not get into the show. Stateroom staffs are friend much more better than buffet staffs. If you are ice cream lover you will be disappointed only available during dinner, there was only 2 ice cream selection strawberry or vanilla. We chose this cruise because we had children that went with us. We looked at some videos online and it seemed fun for them. Honestly once you got on there, there was not much to do. Once you have done everything you get kind of bored. For the children’s club they spent most of their time playing Gaga ball. Two of the kids had fun but my one child did not like Gaga ball therefor she did not like kids club so only go there if you like Gaga ball. She was in the 9-11 group. The shows on the ship were fantastic. The food was not too great on many occasions. The staff was very nice but the food was lacking in many areas. The buffet was not as good as on other ships and was very unorganized. Our cabins were very nice. The showers were a bit too small and my father could not fit in them. Once they turned our couch into a bed they did not change it back she we could not watch tv anymore without wanting to lay down. Overall the cruise was okay but it was very expensive, especially the drink package and overall was not what we expected. They raised our expectations a little too high. Overall I would not sod this cruise again and would instead to a smaller, cheaper ship that cost less but still gave the same things. Read Less

We were part of a large tour group comprised of about 250 passengers. The ship itself is an engineering marvel and beautifully maintained. The ports of call were nothing special for the most part (Labadee was easily the best port) and we chose to stay on the ship in Falmouth Jamaica and Cozumel. Nothing authentic to see that was worth seeing outside of an excursion. Embarking and disembarking was relatively smooth given that there were well over 5k passengers. What made this cruise an absolutely unforgettable experience however was the RC staff & crew. The level of care and customer service was off the charts from everyone we encountered without exception. To be on such a great ship was one thing, and it could have easily been diminished by even average customer care. But the ship, combined with world class customer service we experienced with everyone from our cabin attendant to our main dining room wait staff and everyone in between was what made it a truly special experience. I left the ship completely refreshed, thoroughly impressed and wondering when I could do it all over again. Not a frequent cruiser but I do travel extensively and for my money, there is no better vacation experience. Read Less

If I was not with a party if would have been a total waste of my money. This was my first cruise. The adventure was exciting but the ship was boring and I will not be booking any cruises with Royal Caribbean in the future. The dining was great. My waiter was excellent. We had a African theme night and they arranged to cook us a different dinner to fit our theme. The food was great! My cabin attendant did not change my sheets the entire time. The creative things you see advertised that they do with towels was none existing. That was a big let down for me. We didn't have a problem with anything and everything was just set like a timepiece everything was running smoothly even the long lines was quickly the only thing I think that was a little bit off was the price of the drinks they were very expensive for us anyway we're seniors. And when your seniors you have to be careful of what kind of money you spend on these elaborate cruises but it was the first balcony room that I had ever had and it was just great you couldn't have asked for anything better. My 65th Birthday celebration included my sister and five friends! I use a power wheelchair and had no problems getting on or off the ship! My cabin was completely accessible and I made full use of our private balcony. Dinner was scrumptious! French Onion Soup, steak and the best dark chocolate cake I ever tasted. The staff sang Happy Birthday. Our waiter Norrys was great! He was very attentive and so was Joel the drink server! On our last nightJoel performed magic tricks with napkins and Norrys played the guitar! We booked a different event each nite. I loved the musical Cats. We had facials in the Spa. I sang karaoke and my sister did too! Haiti was great! It was accessible! Lots of places to shop and a buffet for lunch was delicious. Jamaica was paradise! Ken's Wheelchair Tour was wonderful! Komoko Falls was terrific! It was very accessible. Beautiful flowers like Birds of Paradise and Orchids were everywhere. Lots of shops to buy souvenirs but, be careful prices are high. If you show interest but, walk away the price will come down. Kosumel was awesome! A beautiful peninsula with beautiful beaches! Arturo, our taxi driver took us to a wonderful places to shop. Again show interest but, walk away at least once and the price will come down. We ate at a Mexican resturaunt. Delicious food but, watch out for the green hot sauce. Most gringos can't handle it. Traveled with a large group (40) getting on and off ship went quickly and efficiently. Entertainment was awesome! Dining room staff very informative and friendly. Cabin overlooking Central Park was very clean but very noisy. Very good staff in housekeeping. Went snorkeling and kayaking on St. Maarten, great experience. Rum tour in San Juan wasn’t worth the price-walked up the hill from the dock- went to a bar where I felt the guide was not very knowledgeable about rum making. Labadee Island was beautiful and well maintained. Did a walking tour-guide took us one mile to end of beaches where we were left with little explaination of what to do had to find out way back to ship. This was a waste of money too. Adult areas in Solarium aboard ship was always too crowded, only could get a loung chair one afternoon. Deck chairs that were abandoned for hours were never cleaned off to make room for other cruisers. Overall I was satisfied with the Oasis of the Seas. Read Less

While traveling with teenagers, we appreciate all the love they displayed to my family. If you want a ship that is a home away from home this is your ship. The entertainment was wonderful, lots to do with kids... zip line, flow riders, ice skating, putt golf and many clubs for kids of all ages. The food was exceptional including formal nights and all the bistro, many choices at the wind jammer cafe. Very clean buffet friendly and many desserts for all different tastes. There was even a Starbucks for additional charges. Cabins were comfortable and there are many excursions at Mexico and Jamaica. Before the cruise we stayed at a resort with a lazy river. The kids enjoyed. Exiting and entering the ship was easy. We will definitely cruise again on Royal Caribbean!! Read Less

The ice rink is our dance hall and is perfect! Love the Food, Love the entertainment, Love the room and loved the dining staff and cabin service staff - they were very attentive. The bad thing was that we missed our first port - Labadee Haiti - too windy and large waves - so we missed this port due to high seas. We liked Jamaica - we did have a great Dune Buggy experience and had a muddy messy time but we had a BLAST! Cozumel has always been great - but this was the very first time we have ever been rained on - I mean BUCKETS - downpoured almost all day! We had to walk back to the ship in the rain - not a warm day during the entire cruise - not even a pink tone to my skin AT ALL! This was our second time on Oasis of the Seas. I must say it was a much better experience as they did not have a dozen tour buses from the Villages this time. Everyone seemed to be very nice and accommodating. Everything was smooth and easy. I did the zip line this time. The time waiting was very short. We enjoyed much of the entertainment that was provided. The menu in the main dining room has changed since the last time. The food and service was exceptional. Our wait staff in the Grande Dining Room was great. They seemed to be genuine in the service they provided. They stayed on top of everything. Our room attendant was also great. He always asked if there was anything we needed. Our trip to St Maarten was great. Love that place. Our excursion wasn't the best. We took the Historic Phillipsburg by Bicycle Tour. A bit much for what we actually experienced. The stop in San Juan was a bit short. We were able to take the tour of the old fort. Be prepared to walk a lot though. It was our first time in Labadee. I actually like it better than Coco Cay. Be cautious around the vendors. They can be a bit pushy. A lot to choose from. They will try to sell you things with inflated prices. But you can negotiate a bit. I met one vendor who wasn't so pushy his name was Armando. I cannot imagine cruising with anyone else. Read Less

Te Oasis of the SEas is an engineering and architectural masterpiece. Service and food was fantastic. Lots of people, but did not at all feel like the ship was crowded. Ship is designed so well, all areas are easil accessed. Had a good time participating in the onboard activities. Entertainment--Cats is not very good and should be replaced with something else. Flyaway could use some better singers and probably hould be replace also. Aqua Oasis Dreams is okay, nothing great. Tony Tillman (Headliner showtime) was fantastic, as was Frozen in Time, recommend not missing either of these shows. Labadee was a good port, we enjoyed the beach. St. Martin was disapointing because of so much traffic to and from the beach, and we had to go to an alternative beach, because Orient Beach was out of commission due to the hurricane. Wished we had more time in San Juan, walked to the old fort--what an amazing historic place. Don't miss it. Easy walking distance, but you should be in shape. Read Less

Chose to do this trip with a group of women. Some had not cruised before. I have been on this ship before, beautiful. Embarkation was quick and friendly. Cabin was great.Clean and well taken care of. Dining was very good mainly because of the servers. They are friendly and fun. Food was very good. As for entertainment on the ship, it is lacking. Cats is a boring play, a downer, needs to go. Other shows were good and we enjoyed them. They have trivia ,Quest, music ,some games and karaoke. Two problems, space and timing. Rooms for these venues are small so if you want to participate and can't get there early you may as well forget it. Just no place to sit. Next would be timing. Most things overlap. There are few things to do so you will have to choose. I feel that is just crazy, all day nothing then 3 things at once. I enjoyed the live music but the DJ music was not for me . Not for many becaure when we went it was empty. Tecno , music for 18yr olds, not dance music. Service, except for the Dining room stinks . Now that they have prepaid packages there is no reason to give you service, saves them money. The days of pool service or venue service are gone. They have your money !! I did not purchase the drink package but would have enjoyed a occasional drink , but getting one was hard. Ports, all the same. Not the real island feel. Every port is the same, jewelry stores and booze. Lots of jewelry ! I miss the days of seeing the real island. Just lines of shops , every port the same. They could have stayed in one place and few would know. LOL I have been cruising for years and feel it is still s great deal but also see it going downhill . Seems they just dont care anymore. . I went on the cruise because of the special scrapbooking event. The ship was great! Overall, wonderful experience. I loved the servers playing music outside the Windjammer restaurant each morning. Their food variety was amazing! American Icon Grill was wonderful overall. We sat at the same table each night and got to know our waiters. They were professional and very attentive to our wants. The food was excellent. I did have a couple of hiccups with food and service at Chops Grill, one of the upscale restaurants where you pay. I don't feel I got my money's worth here. You can get a steak from Chops at the American Icon Grill for less than $20 extra dollars and the basically same meal at Chops was $45, not really worth that amount. Excursions were well organized and I enjoyed them all especially the Labadee, Haiti private island. The lunch provided was on par with the Windjammer food, very nice. Overall, I would cruise with RCCL again, but I would not spend extra money on dining in the additional money restaurants. The Hot Dog place on Deck 6 was excellent also and no extra charge.. We are long standing Royal Caribbean cruisers (17 years) with Diamond Status... soon to be Diamond Pus... My wife became disabled last year and this cruise proved to be the WORST experience we have ever seen since she became disabled. There was no evidence of "family handicapped restrooms," which required us to return all the way to our cabin if my wife needed a restroom. On a ship almost four football fields long, this can be a long walk to the restroom! The passageways were narrow during embarkation and debarkation we virtually had to roll over other people's luggage and the staff did little to help us. Only the officers we saw took any action to assist. I chaulk this up to training and lack of supervision! The ship was so crowded, people in wheelchairs and/or scooters found it difficult to get in/off elevators without other passengers glaring at them for holding them up. Moving around in the dining rooms was like trying to negotiate a maze. The crew/staff seemed untrained to handle these situations. Unlike older class ships where their were entrances on multi-decks, and people in wheel chairs might find space closer to the stages, the only way to view a show in any of the theaters on the Oasis was from the very back and top of the theater. To many this is known as the "nosebleed" section. Even then, many times THESE areas were taken up by NON-Handicapped passengers and the staff would do nothing to fix this. Being told to come earlier is not an acceptable answer, as any handicapped person knows, we move slower in crowded situations such a 6,000-passenger ship. I wonder if Royal Caribbean ships pass the guidelines for American's with Disabilities Act.. or being an international Company, they are not required? At any rate. this was a HORRIBLE experience. This was a group tour. The ship is nice, but the cruise is all about the ship. I prefer to see new ports and experience new sights. The Central Park in the Oasis class of ships is really great. Its nice to see plants when sailing for 3 days with nothing to look at but water. The food in the main dining room was very good. Service in the dining room was slow, but friendly, and they tried to make up quickly for any errors. The cafe in Central Park was also a nice place to get a breakfast without the crowd at the Windjammer buffet. The Windjammer buffet was unimpressive. We ate at "Chops" and felt it was worth the cost. The Solarium Cafe was ok if you got there early, but got too crowded and they were slow to clean tables. We enjoyed the shows, but "Cats" was bad. Many left at intermission. The cast was great, but you couldn't hear the words on any group songs. Our cabin was the usual, but clean and the steward was great. RCI was bad in accommodating our group. They misled us, and when I called our group coordinator, she basically blew me off. I might try RCI on a smaller ship. Read Less

After many years we have finally made it to Diamond class and can say we totally appreciate the perks and added services when compared to being 3 star Mariners on Holland America and getting little in return. We plan to stick with RCL and Celebrity for all of our future cruises until we opt for some of the more premium and costly alternatives. As diamond class members embarkation was wonderful and fast and we were on the ship quickly only to have to wait until 2 PM for staterooms to be ready..........latest in our 25+ cruises. If you have no carry on luggage there is PLENTY to occupy your waiting time on the Oasis and sister ships so this was not a problem at all for us. Unlike many other reviewer comments we LOVED Cats and actually saw most of it TWICE thanks to all those who either didn't attend or left early. Having seen the Broadway production from $100 pp seats in the balcony............we now saw the play from ROW 4 and could have been even closer if we wanted to. Doug Askew as Old Deuteronomy does some evening shows where he and other cast members sing songs from the 60s and 70s in the Jazz on 4 venue and we highly recommend these performances by these highly talented people. Comedians on our cruise were rather mediocre and the "headliner" was an impressionist who we saw before and will likely avoid if we ever encounter him again despite many good reviews by others. Some of his impressions are good and others quite pathetic, I thought. Food high points of the Oasis for us included the Solarium Cafe for breakfast and lunch, Giovannis (where lamb chops have now unfortunately been removed from menu, GASP), lunches in the MDR where you can choose from buffet or menu seating and finally the excellent beef and lamb dishes in the MDR and the excellent service from all the staff we encountered. Unexpected highlight of cruise esp. for wife was the inclusion of a group celebrating Elvis Anniversary where 5 Elvis impersonators were often spotted on the ship and they did some public performances that all passengers could attend even if not a member of that group. If you go on these ships for the first time be prepared for some chaos on Day one and carrying into the early part of Day 2 before people sort themselves out into the various venues and the ship starts feeling like it is rather roomy and spacious. We WOULD go again on some of the newer ships having already been on the Allure. Read Less

Oasis of the Seas Dec, 2017 Always being intimidated with the size and scores of people on the “mega ship,” after careful consideration and reading countless reviews, we made the plunge and booked our cruise on the Oasis of the Seas. This being our 27 the cruise, over the years we have become accustom to certain expectations within the cruise industry so Oasis of the Seas was being held to an experienced cruisers standard. That being said I won’t bore you with every detail and will only covers the points most cruisers new and experienced may be concerned with. First let me say after reading many reviews, I’m amazed at the some of the ridiculous criticisms stated by many. Simply put, as in life, if one intentionally looks for things to criticize, rest assured, they will find something to complain about. On the other hand, if one chooses to focus on the positive things, life can and will be much better place for everyone and perhaps most importantly the complainer. Oasis of the Seas, like any other ship, has issues and can always improve but overall it is an amazing ship and cruise. Embarkation: Flawless! We arrived at the port at 11:00 and were eating in the Windjammer café by 11:40. I have read many reviews that stated not to waist time looking for a seat in the Windjammer due to over crowding; nonsense! We never had to wait for a table at the Windjammer the whole cruise. There was plenty of seating, never a wait, and always great service. Food was above average but not excellent. One neat thing was everyday they had a new meat at the carving station. (Prime Rib, Pork Loin, Turkey) Ports: Labadee, Jamaica and Cozumel 4 at sea days: Ports were good but we have been there so many times we could offer our own tour service. For the experienced cruisers, island days offer an empty ship with some very good deals on services that you may want to take advantage of. Ship: Spotless, well maintained! Never, ever felt like it was crowded even though there were over 6 thousand passengers aboard. A Couple of times the shopping area was congested but never any worse than any other cruise we have taken. Room: Mid Ship Balcony, 9th floor. Very spacious with more storage than any other ship we have sailed. Cabin steward was excellent, kept room spotless and always polite and out of site. Made sure we tipped him well! Ship Staff: Excellent. Many reviews said Oasis was understaffed and often staff was unfriendly. Absolutely untrue! The staff was very friendly and always willing to help and go the extra mile. They were every-where, yet they stayed in their own lane and never interfered unless summoned. On the other hand, as often as they attempted to help guests, many times I was ashamed of how the guest treated them. Being in the customer service industry for many years it always amazes me how rude and self-centered customers can really be. Often guests would treat cruise staff with disrespect and at times even contempt. This was really noticeable by the Panicle Class passengers who may believe they own the ship and could treat cruise staff and passengers anyway they wanted. Just a note here, they’re not the only ones who paid money for there cruise. One could easily arrive at the conclusion these may be the people who are writing the majority of critical reviews of the Oasis. Again, anyone can find fault with anything if you look hard enough, and Oasis of the Seas is no exception. Ship Activities: Many. There was always something going on aboard the Oasis. You could get as involved or uninvolved as your personal cruising style determined. Cruise Director: Average. With 6,000 passengers aboard the Oasis, one can only imagine how pulled the Cruise Director can be. That being said, I think they could actually use two directors on this size ship. Regardless he did well. Specialty Dining: Excellent! Should you choose a cruise of the Oasis, you must make a reservation at Giovanni’s Table. Believe me you won’t regret it, unbelievable! Specialty Dining Pricing: On the high side but still competitive with other cruise lines. While the prices may be considered a bit high, the service and quality of the food are worth it. After all you are on vacation, treat yourself if you can afford it. Main Dinning Restaurant: Very good! One could easily eat here for the whole cruise and be completely satisfied while saving a bunch of money. Quality of Food and service was very good and really nice to have your waiter call you by name and have your beverage of choice waiting for you when you get there. Bar Service: Great! Read many critical reviews complaining about lack of bar service. While we are not extreme drinkers, the wife and I have a history of getting one drink from every bar on the ship. This cruise was no different, we hit every bar (and there are many) and we never had to wait for more then 5 minutes for service and less than 3 minutes for our drink, with understandable exception of the pool or Solarium. Drink quality was very good. Tip: on day three, Oasis offers a 10-drink package for $80.00, excellent savings as typical mixed drinks go for $13.00-$15.00 per drink. Entertainment: Very Good. Was not impressed with Cats, but shows are subjective to ones personal preferences. Comedians were very good, just be a bit cautious with underage children, and language can be a bit forward. Bands were really good. DE-embarkation: Perfect, flawless. We choose to walk off the ship rather than waiting for our assigned departure time. We arrived at the de-embarkation point (Main Lobby) at 5:45 A.M. (make sure you get there early as 600 people choose this option making for quite a line). Despite the line, it was the smoothest of any ship we were on. Simply put Oasis has got this right! We were back at our hotel and on the road home by 7:10 a.m. As I shared from the beginning, the wife and I were very apprehensive a sailing on a mega ship with over 6,000 passengers. Now on the other side, I am sold out on the Oasis of the Seas. It never felt crowded or congested, in fact, we have sailed on many smaller RCCL ships with fewer passengers that felt much more crowded than the Oasis. My wife and I are looking forward to sailing on RCCL Oasis class ships again. I know if you give it a chance you also will be very pleasantly surprised! Read Less

We chose this ship for our Christmas gift to each other. And Port Canaveral is only 45 minutes away from our house, and the good reviews it has received on, Cruise Critic. This ship is huge! if you have any mobility problems this is not for you! Walking stem to stern is 1,800 feet make this trip just for your meals and you’ve walked 1 mile. Shipboard activities, any activity, that involved communicating with the crew was difficult. We only speak English so if the crew was speaking English the accents were unintelligible. Service did not come with a smile, they had their 18% gratuity built right in. Buy a can of beer $ 8.00 plus $ 1.44 tip! $ 14.00 liquor plus $ 2.52 tip, $ 16.52 total, for 1 drink! When was the last time you went up to the bartender ordered 4 drinks and gave a Ten dollar tip for your his or her two minutes of time? I was served a slimy shrimp cocktail, room temperature, the waiter said he just took it from the refrigerator. Maybe it was from the refrigerator in our room? Why our room? Because there was a mini-fridge in our room didn't work, the response from steward was, it is just a cooler, not a refrigerator, OK! The food was poor and the service was tepid. The food on the Oasis was bad, bland, dry, and recycled, yes recycled, like a beef loin that was not used up for a dinner service would go into the fridge and would resurface the next day as Beef Bourguignon. Room service is free except for the $7.95 delivery charge and the 18% gratuity. The ship is beautiful, service not so good, food was bad, the room was OK. Outside the cabin was always hot. I had to change shirts every time I came back from being outside our cabin, soaked in sweat. I would not recommend, Oasis of the Sea, to a friend. Read Less

We accompanied 6 other couples (3 couples had cruised with RC before). Initial booking was good, however, we were disappointed when following up on our booking, requesting upgrades and changes, etc.; customer "no service" after initial booking. On our first formal night, we (7 couples) were escorted to the Oasis Solarium and seated in a low light, outside buffet environment. We had to serve our own salads and desserts in cocktail attire. Some of our food was served warm and under-cooked, 2 steaks were over-cooked and 2 couples were served when the rest were finishing up. However, our server was fabulous and got the biggest tip of the cruise, 18% + >$100. The ship was beautiful, entertainment was excellent, and staff was very good however, customer service was below average. We are undecided about booking with Royal Caribbean in the future. We feel the overall cost vs return was less than satisfactory. Read Less

Chose this cruise to go Eastern Caribbean did not make that area..instead we went to Mexico, and Jamaica the two places I did not want to ever visit again. Next we could not get tickets for comedy club on line ahead of time. I had tickets and then they got cancelled by Royal. On board we got tickets for comedy club but found out after waiting in line 30 min. that they had a computer problem and we did not get in.. I bought the drink package early non alcohol version this would have been great if I did not have to go to guest services every day to have charges removed (same story computer problems). The food in main dinning room was great, The windjammer also pretty good, all wait staff great no problem. Room steward great as always. Rooms had a balcony (outside) and opened up the balcony with our neighbors (4 other couples) . Royal has a lot better chairs on the Freedom class ships, chairs on balcony are not comfortable at all. Pool deck chairs are also very cheap, flimsy. Central Park deck 8 was great. Lots of places to sit and relax drink beverage, read. Great place to walk from aft elevators to forward elevators.
