The cabin was very well appointed (seemed smaller than the balcony cabin on the Getaway but we managed!) Room steward Kristian was amazing and made sure he knew our names on the first day. Beautifully cleaned and the beds were amazingly comfortable. NCL must have gotten some of the reviews about the harder beds because ours had mattress pads on them which made for a very comfy sleep. Pillows were like sleeping on clouds and the bedding provided appropriate heat for the cooler temperatures. Read Less

Room was fabulous, except for the bed...mattress was too firm and not comfortable to sleep on.

ROOM: Plenty of storage, suitcases fit under the bed and there were lots of closet space, shelves and room to store things and do work. European plugs most common in common areas but in the room we had 2 US plugs and one European plug and usb by each bed. We loved our steward, Mark. Service was impeccable. Towel animal on birthday. Bed FIRM! Very firm...hard to sleep due to pressure points causing soreness. Read Less

We were in a balcony stateroom on deck 12 (12936). I'm struggling a bit in comparing it to our prior cruises, as our last cruise we did an upsell to an aft penthouse on the Pearl. That may be clouding my memory as to what a normal balcony looked like. The beds were comfortable. I kept falling asleep (common from the motion of the sea) and had lots of naps and slept better than I do at home. TV was in kind of a strange place, but we didn't plan on watching it that much anyway. There was plenty of storage space, but not drawers -- just shelves. The closet is in kind of an inconvenient location, right next to the couch and was hard to get stuff in and out of. The bed in our room was by the balcony. What I didn't like about that layout was that it was a tight squeeze between the end of the bed and the wall. The bathroom was OK. The toilet sits right next to the shower, and made that feel a little tight too. Read Less

Cabins were nice, love the blue color palette. Bathrooms elegant and the best part was the sliding glass door on the balcony. I've been on a lot of cruises where the noise of doors slamming shut all the time was annoying ....this way it was quiet and we were able to keep the slider open the entire cruise for fresh air and to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean.
