We upgraded through the bid process to a mini suite from a standard balcony. With the bid process we do not get to choose the location so unfortunately we were placed under the kiddie pool deck and outside seating from the buffet. The noise from the deck was extremely noticeable during the late afternoons and even in the early evening - I should have known better. They clean the deck at 5:00 am each day and you can hear it for about 10 minutes. Our cabin steward was never around. Two of the seven days we did not get a morning / afternoon cleaning but he did show up for a turn down service. It seemed that they had cleaning carts in the halls all day long but it took them forever to finish. The room itself was large with a great bathroom and shower. We had plenty of closet space but there are no drawers just shelves. There are two drawers under the sofa but they held extra pillows and linens. Don't choose this cabin if the noise from the pool deck above would bother you. Read Less

Disappointing service : Cabin 11184
Sail Date: April 2019
The cabin was a little bigger than a regular balcony cabin. It was a mini suite. The biggest difference was that the bathroom was bigger and the shower had more jets.

Just a tad too small to actually sleep 4 adult sized people. Might have been better when my girls were little, but as young adults, we were a bit cramped, so we will go up a size definitely. Room attendant was great! Although my youngest daughter was sick most of the cruise and wanted to be in bed early every evening so we didn’t get as much turn down service as I would’ve liked. Bathroom size was great! After cruising Carnival, I thought it would be small, but the bathroom was almost as big as the rest of our mini-suite. So we had packed for more smaller shared bathroom space and had ample space there. Finally, it said king size bed, but I’m guessing due to the life jackets stored underneath, they can’t really have a whole bed... so it was more like two extra long twins pushed together... we slid in the middle during our sleep more than a few times.
