CABIN Forward suite chosen for extra space, walk-in wardrobe, plenty of hangers, cupboards and drawers in bathroom, living area and near beds, double sofa bed for two boys. Condition of cabin was excellent and above expectations. ideally one more charging socket would have been good. HINTS: The 'Do Not disturb' sign fits the card slot and will keep lights and sockets on even if no one’s in room. The walk-in wardrobe light sensor is at floor level, doesn't work if covered by shoes and other stuff! Cabin was at pointy end of the boat below the bridge so morning wake-up call and heavy vibrations when bow thrusters and winches came into play for port arrivals. Fine, just got up and hit the gym. Cabin was spacious, but I wouldn't call it a suite. I would never book front of the ship again because of the noise when approaching a port, but this cabin fit our needs nicely.

This is a corner suite at the front of the ship. It is the largest room I’ve ever been in on a cruise. It was an actual 2 room suite. It had a wraparound balcony, but it wasn’t that usable. I wanted to be able to sit outside on the side of the ship, but it was too narrow to sit there - just enough room to stand. The seating for the balcony faced the front which was too windy for sitting when cruising. There was a sofa bed and armchair in the living room. The sofabed was very uncomfortable to sit on, as the couch was deep and the seat cushions would not stay in place, but the steward gave us extra pillows from the “pillow menu” and we were fine. The bedroom had 2 sets of windows and it was a joy to wake up there in the morning with the sun and sea. Our only major complaint about the room is that the only US electrical outlets were on one side of the bed. There were 2 plugs there, but nothing on the other side of the bed (I didn’t even see an accessible European outlet there) and only European outlets in the living room. I wish I had known in advance and I would have brought some adapters. I got an extension cord from the front desk ($30 deposit... refunded on return) and was at least able to charge my phone (which I also use as a clock)on my side of the bed. If you have a family of four in that stateroom, you will want adapters for the guests sleeping in the living room. The ship does not have adapters. The bathroom was fine for 2 people, but would be cramped for 4 people. Read Less

We chose this cabin intentionally because of its unique location and design. It is in the very front of the ship on the port side. It is a unique 2 room suite with a large living room with a balcony and a forward facing bedroom with three floor to ceiling windows. The view from the bedroom is extraordinary. The only drawback to the cabin is that the balcony is not wrap around, it only faces port. Additionally, this portion of the ship does not have the glass balconies but fixed metal. This does not enable you to sit on the balcony and view the ocean. The steward was adequate. The bathroom was among the nicest we have seen on our 20+ cruises. Quite large and well laid out with a bathtub. The shower head was an unusual and quirky design. There were no lotions or creams in the bath despite repeated requests. Overall an excellent cabin. Terrible, the whole group ( 4 adults and 5 children) got allergy reactions from sleeping just two nights on board. We did not have a balcony, unfortunately.

So-so experience.... : Cabin 9007

How can you have a suite cabin without balcony ? The room was pretty standard, the TV is very small, hard to see from the bed.
