We wanted a short cruise for my mom and brother. They were first time cruisers. They loved it and the staff was excellent. The dining room experience was very good and all the food was well prepared. We left out of Miami and parking there at the port was $22 per day but we were inside a secured parking deck. The shows on the cruise were great. The performers were talented. We got off the ship in the Bahamas and Coco Cay. I enjoyed the Bahama experience best. Coco Cay was nice but the ocean had too much sea weed floating in it and I didn't like swimming in that. I would rather be in the pool on the ship. The photographers were very friendly and encouraged our group to make lots of pictures. I didn't do any excursions because we just did things on our own to save money. Read Less

The overall experience was great. The cake I ordered in advance for the bithday of my friend was a disaster. Restaurant manager (madam which I dont remember her name) suddenly came with the cake already singing "happy birthday" to ANTHONI!!!! I specifically said in the request the cake was to guest FRANCISCO. Cruise had his details and his bith date. Really disapointed with the service. I expect some kind of reimburse. Cabin crew did a excellent job. Bar service at the pool (both of them) had rude attendants. But some of them were nice. The volume of host on pool deck was sometimes too loud, mainly during competitions alike. The Musical show on day 2 was good. The gaucho show on day 3 was not my favorite. Good options of food at windfammer and my fair lady dining room. Cake aside the cruise was nice. Coco Cay experience was great. Anthoni Signoretto Read Less

family reunion- great for family gathering I would like to have special activity for senior citizens, providing the fact that they do not get to move around as quickly as others. Adult children with senior parents should be given priority boarding the ship and they should have some kind of assistance by staff to make certain that their love ones get to see as much as possible. The ship overall was clean. the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty and I enjoyed tasting International food. This was the first time my partner went on a cruse and they had lots of fun, Took a group photo but there were lots of people in the background photographer said that this could not be prevented. The price of the pictures were rather expensive, Did not care to make a purchase. Cruise Line should include at least one photo with cruise package. Read Less

Cleanliness throught out the ship and it amazed me most was the Cruise Director, he was a great entertainer with his unique personality and events/shows were awesome. If I can rate Bobby the Ship Director, i would give him a 10. I could say that I have cruise before, but this one was outstandingly espectacular. Stateroom clean all the time and suite attendant impress me by remembering my name since the first day explaining any questions that I had. Thank you Thomas my suite attendant. Also, from breakfast to dinner meals were excellent prepared and a good variety, waiters and staff service was excellent. Above, all a memorable cruise. Thank you Royal for making my Cruise a enjoyable one and I will keep coming back for Royal cruises again and again. Read Less

We chose this cruise based on the fact we had time on land as my oldest daughter gets motion sickness often and this was my families first cruise. (I cruised on this ship in 2015.) It turned out to be an amazing cruise and lots of fun for everyone. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and so did going through customs in Key West. Going through customs in Key west was simply done on the ship and only took minutes. Dining was wonderful. We have 4 celiac and 2 of us have an intolerance to dairy and the food was still amazing. Both the main dining room and buffet were wonderful. We were stuck with a dining time of 8:30 because of the large group we had (13 total) but the night we needed to eat earlier we just went to the windjammer. The buffet was great. At breakfast and lunch there was a separate gluten free corner completely separate from the main buffet line so I didn't have to worry about cross contamination. There were tables close by but we took our food into the main dining area to eat with our group. At dinner time this area was closed but a chef took us around the buffet and told us what was safe and if we wanted something he cooked it for us matching our dietary needs. The gluten free corner had at least 3 entrees and several sides and even dessert on it. We got to taste a different flavor of cheesecake every day. My kids loved having a place to go and know they were safe to eat. We had a rainy trip but on the last day the skies cleared and everyone was able to climb the rock wall and bounce on the trampoline. The kids loved the teen and kid adventure zone so much we barely saw them this trip. As for us grown ups, the entertainment in the centrum was fun every night. The kids would pop in and say hi and even remarked how fun it was. Ports of call were fun. Since several of us had cruised before I found a tour of Nassau that hit the highlights and had tastings. At Coco Cay we rented a bungalow and it was well worth the expense. Kids played on the inflatable playground for the hour and then moved onto volleyball and such. No one ever said they were bored. Key West was HOT! We got off the ship for a couple of hours, saw some highlights then headed back to enjoy what the ship had to offer since the day was clear. We are frequent visitors to Key West so we didn't feel the pull to stay to see more. All in all it was an amazing trip for everyone. Kids and adults all said the trip went by way too fast and we are looking forward to our next adventure. Read Less

Kudos to Kumar and Kenroy for their service at dinner. They were so patient and treated us like kings and queens!! This was our first cruise and is was great. We loved getting to know the staff and their family stories. We definitely appreciated them knowing and calling us by our names. The only concer was that at checkout, there was not as many staff members working the guest services desk as I would have thought. This slowed the process down when trying to catch flights in time almost making us late. We were blessed that with a party of 18, we were able to do things individually as well as the cruise was able to accommodate us when all going to events on and off the boat. Read Less

Royal Caribbean (RC) team goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience. We absolutely loved it! From day one until disembarkation, it was a fabulous experience. We usually prefer and enjoy land vacations and flexibility to come and go as we please BUT the fact that there were a variety of activities and amenities that are included in the package made it so awesome. We are ready to plan regular family cruises in the near future. RC will be the preferred cruise line in the near future because of the superior customer service. The ports of call were very nice - Nassau, Bahamas, CoCo Cay, Key West and Miami! The five day/four night cruise is perfect for a significant getaway - not too long, or too short. It is just enough time to unplug, relax, and unwind. The ship size was nice as well, Enchantment of the Seas. We highly recommend it. Read Less

The ship runs like a well oiled machine, from the time you get on, until the moment you disembark...Enchantment of the Seas is non-stop action. My kids loved the night club, the 70's show and the line dancing. My husband and parents loved the evening entertainment. I loved all of the above, plus the Rum Punch and Pina Colada's. Our fine dining waiter Ecko was amazing, he remembered everyone's name and added a personal touch to our cruise. The head waiter called us by name every time he saw us, be it breakfast in the morning or dinner at night. The staff made the cruise enjoyable. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I have been on several cruises, but this was by far the worst. The food for was terrible- all 3 meals times, nothing but dried up pizza after 10 PM. They took gratuities right on the bat without any decision of the guest, including when you ordered a drink @ 18 percent. We pay 43 dollars per person x 8 people for 3 days for house keeping service, and the rooms look at if they had not been vacuumed, toilet cover seat was full of dust-look as if had not been dusted for several months, sheets were not changed, only the bed covers were throw back over the bed. I pay over 12,000 dollars for 8 people and had to pay an additional 600.00 before leaving the ship-GRATUITIES. i can not understanding why these companies will not pay their employees. They are taking all the money for themselves and we have to pay the employees-it's not my company. They said the housing keeping gratuities is in the contract in microscopic writing-they knew this information could not be seen by most guest. I am so disappointed. 1st time going on Royal Caribbean and the last. The rock climbing nor the bouncy cord was in operation during all 3 days. The kids were looking forward to the rock climbing and cord. They had to contend with swimming in salty sea water-all day. Please do not waste your money on this cruise line. Read Less

this cruise was chosen by someone else as a mother daughter cruise and it was fine for the party purposes and getting a group of people together. Getting on and off the ship was fine. OUr cabin was old and worn but a great size and balcony was roomy as well. ship seems loud on pool deck , you could find a quiet area but not near the pool. bands were loud and located in the center areas which I didn't like either. just wasn't a good fit for me but if you want noise and partying then it would be great. excursion on to cococay was just a cabana rental which was expensive and not as advertised. lunch was a mini buffet at the bar which wasn't as extensive as the main buffet. the advertisement said we would have more service. there was none. they didn't take our lunch order or drink orders . the open cooler with what used to be ice was all melted when we reached the cabana (around 10:30 or 11am) because they just sat it up front in the sun so the waters didn't stay cold the whole time of use. Just little things but when you pay over $300 you should be able to expect the services advertised. Also it was advertised as a private area but this was not controlled. they gave us wristbands but allowed others without wristbands into the area. Read Less

I have many food allergies including: Gluten, Soy, Fresh fruits and Vegatables, Legumes, and Nuts. Royal Caribbean offered many options that I was able to eat. They had a gluten free corner with desserts, appetizers, and main course meals. The dinner menus had gluten free options and the waiter was so nice to work with. I am hesitant to travel due to these allergies, but I will no longer be hesitant to cruise with Royal Caribbean. The shore excursions were very organized and they were so fun! We pet, danced, hugged, and kissed dolphins, went snorkeling, and went parasailing. What an amazing time! Royal Caribbean had great shows and dance parties on the ship. I would absolutely recommend Royal Caribbean to everybody, especially those with food allergies or looking for an organized good time! Read Less

Took my family (4 kids...3, 11, 13, 15) and my wife on the cruise. The program for the 3yr old was great. She loved going to their activity center. For the other kids, I would say activities were lacking. They have a teen club, arcade (2 games and some claw machines), and another club for the 11 year old. Those activities were definitely underwhelming. My oldest hung out with us after the first day which was fine and the 11 and 13 hung out by the pool most of the time. They have a lot for the adults to do at the different bars but not a lot of options for the kids. It's either the one activity they have listed or else they are on their own. Ports- Nassau - I would definitely recommend Atlantis. Everyone in the family had a great time and the staff was excellent. CocoCay - Eh, we did the snorkeling which wasn't good. They told us an hour for that, which I think we snorkeled for about 20 minutes tops. They took us to a small cove where we floated around on rafts for about 40 minutes. I would NOT recommend that excursion. Royal Caribbean is supposed to completely make over the island next year so hopefully that makes it better. The rest of the island was very clean and I thought it was nice. Key West - Choice of activities offered by the cruise ship made it sound like there wasn't much to do in Key West. I would highly recommend lining up the excursions directly with some of the local companies. We were told parasailing was booked so we just booked a small tour only to find out that there were about 5 companies that offer it when you walk off the ship. Wasn't happy about that. Other than that, I thought the cruise was great. Friendly staff but you want to make sure you do a lot of research before you go. Read Less

The entertainment on board was incredible and you could tell the staff loved what they do. The food & beverage team were spot on and service was quick and accurate. The un-boarding and boarding at each port was extremely easy. The staff on guest room floors were pleasant and were all very courteous. I must say that going with a beverage package is the way to go. I feel if you do not have it may be quite a hassle and become fairly expensive. The check-in and check out process were extremely easy and we had no issues. The ship is a little older and could use some updates but at the same time the ship was well maintained. We will most definitely sail with Royal Caribbean again in the future. Read Less

This was our first cruise with RCL and we all really enjoyed it. The food was great, the service was impeccable, the ship was really clean, and it was an overall wonderful experience. We had a balcony cabin and that helped quite a bit with not feeling claustrophobic, esp. with 4 of us in the room. Each day, they would put up the ceiling bed and fold out couch for the teens and each night, they would come in and make those beds. While all ship bathrooms are small, this one seemed well laid out. I was also surprised as to how many storage spaces that were provided. I would still recommend bringing some magnet hooks for drying swimsuits. Everything went pretty smoothly, even when we travelled through 2 storms, nothing missed a beat. We were on the 8th floor towards the middle of the ship and we really couldn't feel too much difference in the rocking as we went through the storms. We were able to keep on schedule for the different ports. Read Less

Not everyone in our group had a passport and we needed a cruise that you didn’t need one. Royal Caribbean has been our favorite cruiseline. We’ve always loved Coco Cay and the peacefulness, especially on the South Beach...like our own paradise. We love the hammocks and quite!! We all wanted to go back there Before they ruined it with their new concept of Fun. We are So very disappointed to hear that they are turning our Paradise into a new “Experience” island. It will definitely be more noisy and Not a peaceful Paradise any more. By the promotional video it looks like it will be a noisy water park for young people where RC can collect more $$$$ to use each new experience. Not for us!!! We love the many beach chairs, lots of palm trees for shade if needed, hammocks in those trees, being able to walk way out on the sand bars looking for sea shells and marine life. Our family group of 8 ranging from 17-59 yrs old all agreed that we might be looking to switch cruise lines in the future to find a new Paradise. We don’t want to go back to Coco Cay again. Our group all use our photos at Coco Cay for screen savers on our phones. Who wants a spoiled Paradise with water slides and screaming kids? Not us! As far as the Enchantment of the Seas, it is a smaller ship and a little run down probably over the new ships. We had muliple cabins for our group in the same category. Some had different upgrades. One cabin had a shower curtain and another had shower doors. Doors were nice to keep water contained in bathroom. One had a safe that you could set your own code for access which was so much better than the one that you had to slide your sea pass for access. We had 4 people in one cabin and only 1 persons card could open the safe. The food was very good, but wish they had a little more variety each night. Our service this cruise was slower than on past cruises. The singers on this cruise were the best we’ve every heard! The juggler/comedian was excellent too. Also Bobby was a great cruise director. For a starter cruise with no passport needed, I would recommend it. Just go soon before they change CoCo Cay before Paradise is spoiled. We don’t use the RC shore excursions and book our own to save $$. Read Less

We have always chosen Royal Caribbean for our cruising needs. The cleanliness is superb. The food selection is delicious. The staff is so warm and friendly and at anytime, any staff are always saying hello and have a good day to us. The rooms are clean. The shore excursions are fun and timed just right. I wish they had more of a selection in their clothing and sizes in their on board shops. More T-shirt’s with the ports of call that we are traveling to. Not everyone onboard is a size 2x or smaller...add bigger sizes and more practical clothing. If our port of call is Nassau, then offer those T-shirt’s in various sizes and reasonable prices. We didn’t have time to shop because we were enjoying our excursion. Nassau the town, closes at 6pm but we were docked there until midnight. If stores are closed then what excursions could we do? Too scary to venture out on our own. That was the most disappointing part of the trip. EVERYTHING was closed st 6pm in Nassau!! Also, the cost of snacks were too expensive..$7.95 for a bag of gummy whales was ridiculous!! Please lower the prices of your snacks and have a better selection. I’m sure you’d sell more of these items. Sometimes we just crave Pringle chips and a Reese cup but not for $10!! Read Less

It was our 4th wedding anniversary and we wanted to go to Bahamas with Royal Caribbean. It was my 4th cruise but my wife 2nd cruise, and honestly we can't get enough. It was incredible. As in our honeymoon we booked a Balcony Suite and it was beautifully decorated for our anniversary celebration. I have to tell you guys the entertainment during the cruise was varied and extremely entertaining. Because it was our anniversary we had breakfast in our bedroom, we wanted to have that privacy and alone time. The breakfast was exquisite, delicious and with a lot of variety. First day we had breakfast in our balcony facing the ocean and Coco Cay. Second day we preferred to have inside because we were facing the port and another cruise, so it was a little inconvenient (hehehe), but still we had a delicious breakfast in our bedroom. Readers, Coco Cay was wonderful, we booked a lounged, the privacy, the tranquility was incredible. They have a floating Bar ( our fist time in one), we had a piña colada at the sea with a wonderful weather and atmosphere. The bartender was very attentive. At Nassau we booked a excursion around all Nassau and Paradise Island, ( I wish we had more stops to take pictures and enjoy the surroundings) but overall was a very good excursion. Like I mentioned before inside the cruise you have an activity everyday, my wife and I we danced, we singed, we jumped, believe me, at the end of the night we were so tired, but extremely satisfied. Staff was not very helpful when asking a question. Many times once they realized you were not purchasing one of the add on products the staff would simply walk away. Communication while on board the ship was lacking, confusing and not very accurate when you did receive some communications. Just did not appear the crew knew what was going on around the ship. Also did not appear to have a positive attitude. Not service oriented but rather more interested in selling the add on products. The Coco Cay island had way too much 4 wheeler traffic. You had to continually watch for the 4 wheeler when walking around the island and the noise level was not relaxing. Some sections of the ship are in need of some refurbishment. The staterooms are in need of new furniture and refurbishment. Our bed was hard and the furniture appeared to be very worn and reflected damage on some of the furniture. Read Less

We live in Florida and decided to take this cruise which left Miami. This is our first time on this ship. The cruise went to Bahamas and then Key West. We haven't been to Key West for sometime. Had openings on our calendar, so decided to take the drive from our home in the Tampa area to Miami. The ship is a bit old and could use some TLC in some areas. Otherwise, we found it to be always clean and kept up. Can't say enough about the crew on board. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. This is a sign of good management on board. I would definitely consider taking another cruise on this ship because of the crew. We try not to take a cruise twice on the same ship but this pleasant experience has changed our mind.
