We took Catamaran Cruise with Lobster Lunch. The tour was 6 hours long. We boarded the catamaran and sailed for about an hour while seeing many of the sights of Antigua from the water. In between the captain who was also the guide played music. Our first stop was a beach for about an hour. The crew brought us several drink choices on to the beach. We did have to rent a beach chair for $4. We then got back on the catamaran to head to our next beach. From this point on it was open bar. After docking at the next beach we had about 20 minutes on the beach. They then called us back for the lobster lunch. The lobster was larger than we expected which they grilled on the boat. It was a little dry without melted butter but quite good anyway. There was an assortment of sides to choose from. We then had about an hour on the beach. We headed back to the ship and they raised the sails and took the scenic route. The drinks were flowing, the music was playing, and people were singing and dancing. It was the best excursion of the week and I would recommend it. Read Less

We took the catamaran with lobster lunch excursion through RCCL. It was onboard the Mystic II. The catamaran was large which was good since there were a very large number of people onboard. Seating was maxed out, so have an idea where you want to sit before you board. Once you have planted yourself, you can't really change your mind. The crew were friendly and thankfully didn't lobby for tips at the end of the excursion. There was a tip box on the bar counter so that we could reward good service (which we did). The catamaran had bathrooms but we didn't use them so I can't comment other than the fact that they existed. Shade is limited on the catamaran, so get there early if you want to be out of the sun. We sat on the trampoline at the front and had plenty of room. The food was plentiful and delicious. Plan on eating with your plate on your lap and keep your fingers crossed that you will be able to squeeze in around a table for lunch. I gave this trip only 4 stars because the beach that we stopped at was quite rustic. It was nice because our large group were almost the only ones there, but there were no chairs available for rent and minimal shade. We sat on our towels which got promptly covered with sand spurs once we laid them down. We had to pick them all off before we could carry them back to the ship. I would consider taking this excursion again if I could arrange a smaller boat. It was a very good day, just not a great one. Read Less

We had the opportunity to view the coast from the sea (including the house of a famous Italian designer), to really sail (being underway with engine OFF on a big catamaran is really fun), drinks were served during the whole tour (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), the lobster lunch was great, we had two stops at very nice beaches and our crew was knowledgeable but also very FUN. This was the one and only excustion that I booked through the ship. A catamaran sailing with lobster lunch and champagne.Smeone on the ship recommended this one (they've done it three times) I decided to give it a try. The price was steep ($149) but hey, I'll was eating fresh lobster!!!The meeting place for the tour was right on the pier as we exited the ship. A short walk down the pier and I boarded the catamaran "Mystic". The tour was to include two beaches and lunch. We arrived at the first beach but were unable to get off the boat as the surf was "rolling". The tour now became a beach search...the captain told us that once one beach was rolling that they'd all be rolling!!!Honestly I have NO idea how long it actually took us to find the beach we ended up staying at for the entire time. Okay...I lied...just realized I looked at my phone...we arrived at 11:00. Suffice as to say the water was warm and the sand soft. Not as beautiful as Barbados...but very warm and pretty none the less!!! The offered free run punch and soft drinks along the way...the rum punch may be the reason I don't remember what time we arrived :)We had plenty of time in the water before they called us in for lunch. Let me tell you...lunch was fabulous!!! Tossed salad, potatoes, rice and beans and mixed vegetables. And the crown jewel...lobster tail...a HUGE lobster tail...the lunch was both filling and delicious. The lobster was prepared on an open grill on the back of the boat. Does life get any better????We puttered in the water for quite awhile while everyone finished lunch the started to sail back to port. We arrived back around 3:00. Enough time to hit a couple of shops and then get back onboard. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and would love to do it again! Read Less
