Banana Coast (Trujillo) Campo del Mar Nature Park Walking Tour Excursion Reviews

Check out this hidden gem, untarnished by an overload of tourists. Still being developed and ever-growing, it's still a great location to see such simple beauty.
Some growing pains, but all in all a good experience.

Some growing pains, but all in all a good experience. Loved the headsets provided; and the fruit and juice provided afterwards. Not so sure about the animals but the plants were fun to learn about.

The only problem was the very hot, long bus ride to get to the facility. I was afraid the bus was going to break down the entire time. There was no restroom on the bus either. Read Less

The tour has a botanical garden section and a wild life rescue portion. Each section has a different leader and both were extremely knowledgeable. We learned a lot about local plants. We had a very pleasant meal under a large shade tree and served some fine local food. Good experience. The wild life rescue portion was led by a young woman who took great passion about their rescue work. her fellow helpers ( 2 young men) were extremely caring about their charges and were equally dedicated to their tasks. It was a wonderful experience to feel the nose of a taipur through a fence. That little pink nose was quite soft.Highly recommend this tour. Read Less
