This snorkeling was excellent.
Sail Date: March 2017
This snorkeling was excellent. The operator also did dives so his equipement and instruction was first rate. There was lots to see and the area was protected.

Gustavia, St. Barts – We arrived to the island of St. Barts to rain and wind. The island is a tender port which made getting off of the Riviera extremely difficult. St. Barts has 300 days of sunshine, but the morning of February 21st was not one of those 300 days. We had jumped onto a snorkeling excursion with a Cruise Critic member. Because of the weather we were delayed two hours leaving the cruise ship. The snorkeling trip aboard Wayayai Catamaran rental in St Barth | TOPLOC was awesome. Later that evening once back on the Riviera we discovered that not many of the passengers were able to get off the cruise ship or were able to get on St. Barts because of the rough seas. Read Less

Okay snorkeling, but a complete waste of money: we took the tender ashore, boarded a Blue Cat catamaran...and was taken right back out to the ship! We snorkeled literally within 200 meters of the ship, we could have simply kayaked. Heck, a decent swimmer could have just swam. Then repeat the process to get back onboard. No fault and no criticism of the tour operator, the star rating is based on the value for a Seadream passenger. Not deserving of a single star because there was, after all, some decent (but hardly spectacular) snorkeling to be had. Read Less
