Very accessible port, as we berthed minutes away from the town. As in all ports we visit, we do some research & opt to do things we want to do & see.

We decided to look around this port on our own. It is very pretty and has a large shopping centre with coffee shops & restaurants all within two/three minutes walking distance from ship.

Vigo is a small town. We climbed to the viewing point to get a good view of the ship and this typically Spanish town. There is a small shopping mall next to the pier to but water to take back onto the ship.

Anchored near a small marina which we sat by on the way back to the ship. As my companion was a wheelchair user we found this a slightly difficult port to get around as it was very hilly. We walked along the Promenade and then went back towards the ship and into the "shopping centre" which didn't have much, and got the lift up to a walkway. We hoped that this would take us towards more shops but as it seems to be built all on a hill we didn't get far. Read Less

A pleasant surprise. We went for a walk to the top of the hill and the castle remains. Some wonderful panaromic views can be enjoyed from here.

We did our own thing in Vigo, went for a walk around the town, a nice place to have a little shop, or just check out some of the maritime history.

Walk straight off ship into old town. Lots to see and plenty of restaurants. It's very hilly so not good for mobility scooters and wheelchairs Loved this town
