The site itself is huge and there is a massive temple that you can pretty much climb all over. I probably would have enjoyed exploring it more if the weather had cooperated. Read Less

Beautiful place. Taxi to cable car to go to Erice. 15 Euros for 4 and 9 euros return on the cable car. 15 euros return taxi to the port.

The port itself is a 5 min walk and some nice buildings but not much to do. Immediately on the dock are buses taking 4 People at 20 euros each to Eric's a 30 min journey to this pretty hill top town. This is half price of Tui and ... Read More
The port itself is a 5 min walk and some nice buildings but not much to do. Immediately on the dock are buses taking 4 People at 20 euros each to Eric's a 30 min journey to this pretty hill top town. This is half price of Tui and avoids the cable car ride. l would recommend this trip. Read Less

Needed to see a different part of Sicily, as heavy waves would not let us dock in Trapani. Very good tour of the area. Interesting history.

Took the cable car to Erice early in the am. Beautiful medieval hill top town. Would definitely do this over Trapani.

We had a great olive oil tasting excursion. However, ever heard of Trapani? Me too. I am convinced that we docked there and not Palermo due to cheaper docking fees. Shame on Silversea if this is true. Trapani is a nothing town. But the excursion was enjoyable: Serenaded by an opera singer in a large Italian villa where they produce olive oil. Great lunch spread and no pressure to buy the olive oil. Read Less
