Took transfer to town centre. Coach besieged by people selling tours as we approached the coach park, some people did not disembark. Once into the market, these people disappeared and one could walk around in peace. No one pressing you to buy things, you could just explore the stalls where whole families were living out their lives. They were as interested in seeing you as you were them. They were pleased if you took photos, so different to other markets we visited. The surroundings were not so clean as in other markets, but the people were clean, nicely dressed and very friendly. Adjacent to the coach park was a drinks cafe, where westerners congregated, with free wifi, heaven! No western type cafes or restaurants. Read Less

We visited Wat Krom Pagoda , Wat Leu Pagoda , beaches and [phar Leu Central Market and had our morning tea and lunch at Sandan which is a training restaurant. The tour gave us an opportunity to understand the culture and the daily lives of locals. Also we were really impressed with Sandan which has been providing the local young people a good future by training them. Read Less

Overall the tour was quite good but spoilt by the fact that the guide could speak enough English to narrate his spiel but couldn't understand you if you asked him a question.

Absolutely nothing in the port. Tender in. Small area market with cafes. Would have been better if a full day was there as there were some shops that can do custom made batik shirts and dress.

On our own. Five of us rented a Hobie Cat at Sail Sihanoukville at Otres 1. It was cheap! The cab was $30 RT divided by 5 and the Hobie Cat rental was $8 per person for 3.5 hours.
