It was good. we didn't go very far in the canal. Probable because we went to the Veragua Rainforest as well. Seen sloths, monkeys and crocks.

WE were scheduled to go to a hacienda and see some plantations I believe but this port had to be cancelled. It was understandable but it was someplace I have never been. Disappointing.

We took a long, winding bus ride to our rainforest destination. It gave us a chance to see the humble way many locals live and the extraordinarily, beautiful country they are lucky to call home. The rainforest preserve was a remarkable learning center. We went to a beautiful butterfly conservatory and a snake and amphibian display. The aerial tram was fascinating and we took a leisurely stroll right through some of the rainforest itself. Our guides were informative and you could feel their love and respect for this beautiful area. I would love to experience this again. We saw free flying toucans and parrots, and sloths and monkeys in the trees. Read Less

We loved the people in Costa Rica and the beauty of the area. Did some shopping, had a drink people watched. Went to the park, the beach and relaxed.

Rain Forest is beautiful-loved the tram ride, lunch was delicious! But it was very rushed because the ship was over 2 hours late arriving at this port because of the terrible tour in Panama
