As we have been to Key West before, we decided to go to the Butterfly Conservation near 1200 block which is on the other side of the island from dock but was worth the walk. Entry fee is $9 for seniors 65 and over and $12 for adults.

We walked around and went to the lighthouse, you can see the whole island from on top. Worth the $12 admission price.

Loved Key West! Right off the ship we rented a golf cart from a kiosk, and rode around the small island. We had chosen before hand which places we wanted to visit (sloppy Joe's, Earnest Hemingway house, key lime pie bakery, $5 stores, mile 0) and easily hit all those places in the 3 hours we had the cart. Excellent. We took the trolley to stop 11 and then walked back. It was a great tour of Key West and got us to the Southernmost point quickly.

We explored Key West on our own. We walked from the cruise ship to the Hemingway House. It was a very interesting tour. We then walked across the street to the lighthouse where we climbed to the top for some great views of Key West.

Walked around Key West for the afternoon and went into Kermit's Key Lime Shoppe. Had chocolate covered Key Lime pie which was to die for! Also had Key Lime soda there and chatted with the friendly staff. That's a must do and they are located across from where the trolley from the ship drops us off. Lots to see and do there in Key West but do not leave without getting your frozen chocolate covered key lime pie! Read Less

Good shopping, friendly locals, great restaurants. Getting off/back on ship was interesting-docked at military port so had to use tram/trolleys to get back/forth to ship, but they ran every 10-15 minutes so it was okay.

Booked independently on Groupon. 13 year old and husband did this. It was both their first times. They said the boat was in excellent condition, the crew was very knowledgeable, and they had an absolute blast.

Very cute city and I got some good souvenirs. There is a CVS in Key West, so take a trip there for last minute things you forgot. We were only there for 3-4 hours, so I just walked around.

Because we docked in the Navy yard we had a sort tram ride to town, which gave us a bit of a view. We've been here several times before - just walked Duvall Street, did a little shopping, and had a drink at Sloppy Joe's.
