Key West was very interesting, Parked at the Naval Station Dock and a free trolley/bus to Mallory Square, other ship parked right at Mallory Square. Easily walkable if you are so inclined and don't want to spend on the excursions. We hiked the length of Duval street to the southernmost point and back through the little White House which has an interesting (free) display at the giftshop or a pricier ~$20 full tour. Nice and quiet in the morning, became more busy in town closer to departure. Full day, about 6 mi walked according to the phone. Read Less

I've been here too many times to count (I live in south florida), and this port is GREAT. It is walking distance to everything so you aren't spending 30 minutes walking or taking a car ride to get into town. The only reason I didn't rate it as 5 stars is because this is definitely a better port at night; The city comes alive! During the summer days, it is so hot, the city is muted as everyone stays inside. Read Less

Key West was nice but we had a shortened stay. It was not on our itinerary and we had from 8:30-3:30 to enjoy our time there but everything was rushed. We found out the night before that we were going to Key West instead of Princess Cay and since we didn't have internet service, had no idea what we were going to do or even plan for that visit. As we have been to Key West before, we decided to go to the Butterfly Conservation near 1200 block which is on the other side of the island from dock but was worth the walk. Entry fee is $9 for seniors 65 and over and $12 for adults.

We were supposed to get 7 hours on island and ended up getting 3. We also had to set in common areas on ship waiting to be called in groups for 3 hours while we couldn't do anything else per their instruction.

We arrive at 330p at the Outer Mole pier, even though there were no ships berthed at either of the two convenient downtown piers. After the usual porting rigamarole, it was 5p before the last debarkation group stepped off the ship, and then they still had to ride the secure trams through the naval installation to downtown. Even those who got off in the early groups to go shopping felt rushed. No private excursion company ran anything during these weird hours. Port was just a complete waste. Read Less

Not a port of choice, swapped instead of Havana Cuba. Very commercial. Had a good day there, wandering around, very pretty spot, some great spots to eat and shop. Do the trolley ride around - great way to have good look.

We were docked at Naval Pier and had to take a shuttle to the main area of town. I just walked around and visited some places I had been 7 months prior. Very hot and uncomfortable. Shops are always available to cool off though.
