We arrive at 330p at the Outer Mole pier, even though there were no ships berthed at either of the two convenient downtown piers. After the usual porting rigamarole, it was 5p before the last debarkation group stepped off the ship, and then they still had to ride the secure trams through the naval installation to downtown. Even those who got off in the early groups to go shopping felt rushed. No private excursion company ran anything during these weird hours. Port was just a complete waste. Read Less

We used the free Duval Loop bus to go to the Hemingway House. It was a great tour with interesting anecdotes about Hemingway, his wives, and the six toed cats (which are everywhere). Afterwards we ate lunch at Sloppy Joe’s which was fun. It was a hot day so we headed back to the ship afterwards as we were all pretty worn out by then. Read Less

We were docked at Naval Pier and had to take a shuttle to the main area of town. I just walked around and visited some places I had been 7 months prior. Very hot and uncomfortable. Shops are always available to cool off though.

We walked around and went to the lighthouse, you can see the whole island from on top. Worth the $12 admission price.

Loved Key West! Right off the ship we rented a golf cart from a kiosk, and rode around the small island. We had chosen before hand which places we wanted to visit (sloppy Joe's, Earnest Hemingway house, key lime pie bakery, $5 stores, mile 0) and easily hit all those places in the 3 hours we had the cart. I recommend a visit to the aquarium. It is small, but has an excellent informative staff. Children will especially enjoy the touch-tank and feeding of the sharks.

Excellent. We took the trolley to stop 11 and then walked back. It was a great tour of Key West and got us to the Southernmost point quickly.

We explored Key West on our own. We walked from the cruise ship to the Hemingway House. It was a very interesting tour. We then walked across the street to the lighthouse where we climbed to the top for some great views of Key West.

Walked around Key West for the afternoon and went into Kermit's Key Lime Shoppe. Had chocolate covered Key Lime pie which was to die for! Also had Key Lime soda there and chatted with the friendly staff. That's a must do and they are located across from where the trolley from the ship drops us off. Lots to see and do there in Key West but do not leave without getting your frozen chocolate covered key lime pie! Read Less
