I wish I'd gotten to cruise to Bermuda when you docked in Hamilton. Going anywhere on the island from Royal Naval Dockyard is a giant pain  - especially to the beach. It's not difficult at all - and the ferries and buses are affordable and frequent. It just takes so LONG to get everywhere. It's certainly not Celebrity's problem - just something worth noting. We went to Bermuda before. The first day we arrived we went to the Ferry Terminal and purchased a transit pass for the time we were on the island. We went to St. George and got there too late to see the reenactment. We did go to the Post Office and send post cards to friends and family. I also added to my stamp collection. We also visited our favorite ice cream shoppe, and went to the Lilli Perfumery. We went back the next day by bus and saw the Reenactment. We also saw the recreation of the ship Deliverance. Went back to the ice cream shoppe. We also went to the Bermuda Museum of Natural History, Bermuda Zoo, and Bermuda Aquarium. Another day we went to the Botanical Garden. The first day we also went to the Royal Naval Dockyard. Harbor Night was a good event. They had different shows, and vendors selling goods. It was an enjoyable evening. Every Wednesday night on Front Street. Read Less

I did not find anything of interest in Bermuda. The sanitation in the bathrooms at the library and along the waterfront was horrible. I did not get out of the city so perhaps those who took excursions had a better time in Bermuda.

The Royal Naval Dockyard itself basically contains the cruise terminal, visitors center , ferry docks, restaurant and shops. The historic dockyard is cool, the beach directly around the corner was full of trash and broken glass. We ended up taking a bus to Horseshoe Bay. I found the employee at the visitor center to be completely unhelpful, the buses were not running because of the storm damage, but the ferries were. They run on a token system and it wasn't exactly straight forward, when I asked the woman what the best option was for what we wanted to do she was completely unhelpful and since there was a long line behind me I just went with what the easier option was hoping we wouldn't end up stranded on the island. The transportation system is not user friendly, the bus stops are not labeled and the bus drivers do not announce where you are. You're supposed to look for pink or blue colored poles as the bus stop. After leaving the Aquarium we had to trek across a very dangerous intersection with our children that had no sidewalks to walk to a gas station for more bus tokens and were told that the stop was across the street - it was literally a yardstick with a blue tip that was hidden behind a telephone pole in a parking lot of a restaurant. We took the water taxi to Hamilton and then public transit. You can probably do public transit a lot cheaper than we did but the day pass wasnt bad. Only $12 per person. Again a short day to see a lot of things.

We stayed at the West End Dockyard and rode the free choo-choo tram around the grounds, stopping 3/4 of the way around to tour Ft. Scaur and the Bermuda National Museum. There were nice view points from the fort, especially of the canons pointed at our ship! We toured the many rooms of the Commissioner's House. There were varied displays including Bermuda tourism, slavery, a dollhouse, WWII, coins, and historic ships. Read Less

We stopped in Bermuda, at Dockyards, for 2 days. My recommendation to anyone traveling to Bermuda is to not visit in the spring. They told us that the rainy cool weather, with 50+ MPH winds, was typical of that time of the year. All tours that went on the water were cancelled. That included ferries to any location other than Hamilton (from Dockyards). Read Less

Bermuda in late November is not reccommended. The water was too cold to enter without a wetsuit. It rains often. Because they are not tourist dependent, prices are high and services are not especially geared for visitors.

A little disappointed. I thought we would be doing more cycling. Instead we kept stopping as some members of the group found the going too hard. Still very informative
