I love Bermuda and feel quite at home in Hamilton. Do take advantage of the mild temperatures to walk around and see this lovely spot. I recommend the Swizzle Inn or having a drink at the famous Princess Hotel in Hamilton.

We spent several hours on the Railway trail. This is purported to be for walking and cycling, but unfortunately the effort to keep motor vehicles off the trail, they have made it almost unusable for cyclists. We rode a section from Hamilton toward Dockyards, then took the lower road back to town. I'd like to return to Bermuda, maybe on a cruise that stays a night or two. Hamilton is a great port, with good public transport by bus or ferry. I think it's definitely a place that a couple of days would be wonderful. Read Less

Transfers from Ship to shore were excellent - P&O provided a fast cat that seated around 300-400 people...super fast and comfy/air conditioning.

Took the boat over to Hamilton and the bus back, shopped and had coffee, not too dear. Then back to the port which had lots of shops and was one of the nicest ports.

Hamilton is a very nice small city. The best parts of Bermuda are out on the Eastern, Southern, and Western areas....St. George is a view back into history. Crystal Caves is a great view into history. South Shore is gorgeous beaches, with Gibbs Lighthouse a marvel of, what was then, modern architecture, and Somerset having the worlds smallest drawbridge. We did not partake in the NCL excursions. Instead we arranged to spend one day at a private resort with beach/pool and the second day we travelled by ferry ($5 pp each way) to Hamilton where we had lunch and walked around.

It was great! we could walk off the ship, go shopping, or just hail a cab and go to the beach! One of the nights there was a street fair and we had our best meal of the week from a food cart (much better than what we got onboard!)

Love Bermuda! We've been 5 times and love it for its beauty, cleanliness and Beaches. We've done plenty of excursions prior, and it's so easy hopping a bus for the beach.

Bermuda is one of the best warm-weather destinations around! Docking in Hamilton rather than the Naval Dockyards is a huge plus as it puts you right in the center of everything. No need for ship excursions here as the island is safe and easy to get around [however, the extremely elderly and those with mobility issues may find an organized excursion useful as there are narrow roads and sometimes steep inclines]. I did not find anything of interest in Bermuda. The sanitation in the bathrooms at the library and along the waterfront was horrible. I did not get out of the city so perhaps those who took excursions had a better time in Bermuda.
