Beach is right at port. Walk down towards Jack's Shack for better area. You will be bombarded for beach chair rentals. We kept saying No thank you since we had beack mats to sit on.

There are nice shops a short walk off the boat. There is a free, giant pool and loungers at Margaritaville and a great party atmosphere that is somewhat family friendly. The beach can be accessed steps from the boat.

Grand Turk is always nice to visit and swim at. Water is always calm. The more I go there, the crowderer it gets. But there was plenty of room for everyone. We sat up close to the Beach. Plenty of Shops; decent bathroom.

We just relaxed on the beach. The water is a little rough due to big rocks and coral. But there is a great place to snorkel with a deep drop off. We saw all kinds of fish and enjoyed it.

Get to Margaritaville early if you want a chair close to the pool. Free Wifi (bestdayever) but may have to connect in the restaurant

Our fourth trip to Grand Turk. It is much more commercial now but still pleasant. You don't need to pay for shore excursions-there are plenty of beach chairs right when you walk off the ship. Cute shops.

We were the only ship in Grand Turk on the day we ported there and thus it did not feel crowded. The Grand Turk Cruise Center is a world-class, beach front cruise facility nestled among nearly 18 acres of landscaped grounds. The beaches are public, and the clamshells, beach chairs and umbrellas at the Grand Turk cruise center are free to use, so a beach tour, to us, seemed superfluous. Following the guidance of past visitors, upon entering the center, we went to the beach to the right and had our choice of clamshells in which to relax. The water was semi cloudy from swirling sand, but you could still see a few fish and swimming was easy. Hint: Get off the ship early for best seating and wear water-shoes at the beach. Read Less

another relaxing beach day--i understand that to the left blue loungers and green umbrellas are free- however by the time we got off ship- free section was filled- so of course we were hoodwinked by some young men where we paid $50 for 2 umbrellas and 6 chairs- the umbrellas were very wide and served the purpose and we were close to the water- the young men also informed the young adults that the deal also included free wi-fi and half priced drinks at Margaritaville - well the young ladies quickly found out this was a hoax and paid $20/drink- the old folks- myself- sister & brother-in-law-- decided we would just drink the water we had brought off boat please make sure you have water shoes- this beach was so rocky in the water- big boulders of rocks and sand uneven- with dips and valleys- i did fall once coming out of the water- we did see some pretty species of fish Read Less
