It was very organized and easy to get on the ship, even though, there were hundreds of people going in different directions!

Average embark and disembark. However-Norweigan has much smoother embark and disembark programs. Even without our Platinum status boarding perk on Princess it was STILL quicker and smoother.

The ship was being inspected by Boarder Patrol and US Customs, however, the port was easily accessible and the staff in the port was friendly.

Arrived at the port around noon and were quickly aboard ship without difficulty. For some reason the cameras were not working at check-in so we had to be photographed by Security on the ship as we boarded.

We did take the ship's transfer from Fort Lauderdale to Miami Airport. Avoid this! We had a terrible time finding the bus, then wished we hadn't, as everyone was on it, and it was hot, and unventilated. We had to sit for a long time in an oven. Instead of van transfers, at different times. HAL put everyone on a hot bus, at the same early hour. We were left off at the airport at a chaotic check in counter. Thank goodness we decided to leave the group, and just walk into the airport for a more orderly check in. We had to wait 7 1/2 hours here before our flight. There are private transfer vans that will transfer you for $25. at the time you choose. Read Less
