This island is a faded glory. Not much to do. Did rent a golf cart and drove the loop. This port could have been cancelled to allow the ship to fast track to Cabo ahead of weather.

Walked around town, went to the museum and learned about the history of Catalina Island and saw an exhibit on Houdini and Jaws. We had fish and chips on the pier, and scoops ice cream! Go get some scoops gelato and ice cream! So delicious.

Nice scenery and cute town but not much there. There were a lot of watersport offerings and many people rented golf carts to drive around the island. Decent shopping.

I've been on this cruise a number of times, visiting Catalina often. Really nice, easy to see port. We usually rent a golf cart, and zoom around the available spaces.

Beautiful scenery! Now that I've been, I'd only advise going in the hottest summer months. But it's still lovely to look at and walk around in the cooler temps, just didn't get in the water or anything.
