The zoo was excellent but did not have nearly enough time to see it all. I think they thought we all had to get back for our naps.

Took shuttle to city. Went to Southbank for a few drinks at the beer garden overlooking the man made beach and pool. Nice clean city.

We were at a berth, 45 minutes away from the city, should have been a free shuttle to the city, it wasn't. We were picked up by relatives, went to Mount Kootha lookout, very hot day, had a cool drink in nice cafe in botanical gardens.

An Uber to the local train station and a train into the city and then a pleasant few hours walking through the city before returning the same way we had arrived. The ship was moored a LONG way out of the city due to its size.

Because of the size of the ship it has to dock at Fishermans Wharf which is not a very nice dock. It's about 20 kilometres from the city. Brisbane really does need a new cruise port!

We had booked the snorkelling experience off the Reef, but had to cancel it as the grandson was in cabin isolation. Luckily the Medical team were able to get our money for the snorkelling refunded.
