Probably our least favourite port, we wandered around the downtown area and along the shore near the ship. Beautiful water, just did not seem like many options for activities here.

Bonaire is a fairly small island that is somewhat new to cruise tourism. It is easy to walk around town and they have a nice local craft plaza a few blocks from the pier. While we did not do an excursion, our dinner table mates did two ... Read More
Bonaire is a fairly small island that is somewhat new to cruise tourism. It is easy to walk around town and they have a nice local craft plaza a few blocks from the pier. While we did not do an excursion, our dinner table mates did two excursions, one a dive trip and the other a 4x4 offload excursion. Both said they really enjoyed their adventures. Read Less

We tied up at the more central North Pier instead of the advertised South Pier, which was occupied by an Aida ship. We booked an independent tour but at over twice the price of the Curacao tour and not quite as good. The island caters ... Read More
We tied up at the more central North Pier instead of the advertised South Pier, which was occupied by an Aida ship. We booked an independent tour but at over twice the price of the Curacao tour and not quite as good. The island caters mainly to divers, with some of the best sites in the Caribbean. Read Less

Easy to take taxi to beaches - one, rocky but good for snorkeling, other, sandy and good for swimming although a lot of wind surfers around.

Bonaire has lots of shops and great beaches. There is a store that sells local jewellery called Elements. (Bonaire is tiny so you can find it.)

One of a kind vessel you can go down and see underwater. Came up and had drinks and snacks. Those that wanted to could snorkel later.
