Cocoa Beach and Spice Beach are not the best. We paid for a day pass at Harbour Village. What a beach one of the best I have been on. The tropical fish are amazing. Beautiful gardens, hammock, beach chair, table and bed. Very quiet so it was paradise. they have an outside eating area shaped like a boat that goes on a jetty into the sea. We sat and had a meal throwing bread for the fish it was like having our own private aquarium. The snorkeling was amazing. I believe it is 75 dollars each for a day pass now. Read Less

We left the men aboard the ship as they didn't want to go shopping or looking around town. We walked into town & took some photos. Found some very interesting stores also. Was another Dutch town & it was beautiful. We had a wonderful time talking to the people & finding out all kinds of information. We had intentions of going to the beach & seeing the flamingos but when we returned to the ship & had lunch we just didn't feel like going out again so we went to Spice H2O which was really great as we were the only ones in the jacuzzi & enjoyed the area for the afternoon. We rented bikes in town and did a 3 1/2 hour bike ride to Lac Beach and Sorobon Bay (about 40 plus kms round trip) - the Southern route. On the ride back to town we passed the slave huts, the donkey reserve and the pink flamingo reserve (was thrilled to see a flock of pink flamingos fly over us). Beautiful island - will have to go back one day. Read Less

Cannot rate this island high enough. Only 18,000 residents and it is the most beautiful and simplified island I have ever been to. I cannot wait to go back!!!!! Absolutely without a doubt the most amazing place we've ever seen.
