Acadia National Park is a must-do, though I didn't find the scenery to be exceptional. Maybe because of the gloomy weather. The town itself is cozy with a number of restaurants and shops. Check low tide times in advance in order to hike on the Bar Island. I saw the tide came in and the sand bar could become inaccessible quickly. Read Less

Such a beautiful town!!! The national park is awesome too. I wish I'd had more time there. And don't miss the walk across the sandbar at low tide to Bar Island. Just don't let high tide strand you.

It rained a lot so we just walked the town and shopped and had a great time. This was also tender port which added a lot of time. One of our tender pilots had a lot of trouble tying up to the ship (4 attempts!). Great places to eat and the ... Read More

Darling town! Try Side Street Cafe (off Cottage Street) for your lobster roll! Great walking, and picture taking. Also Ollie's Trolly to go to Cadillac Mountain.

Walked the seawalk, looked at very pretty mansions, did some shopping on main street, had lobster roll at seaport restaurant. Nice place to dream of living in

Turn right just after making it to dry land and explore the smaller streets and alleys for great galleries and local hangouts. Take the walk along the waterfront south and then venture into the old neighborhoods with large Victorian Guest houses and expansive lawns. Read Less

Lovely place to stop and very pretty , tendered in to shore , the pier is right next to the town.
