MSC Seaside Cruise Review by Taaraz
- Sail Date: July 2019
- Destination: Western Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Bella Balcony Stateroom
There was 2 huge buffets, the main one on deck 8 went all the way around the ship and the food choice is just exceptional and to a very high standard. MDR food was very good, lots of different choices, something for everyone.
Pools are deep and sea water but good to lounge in, not really made for swimming lengths in and they do get crowded. children’s / Teen facilities are out of this world. The children’s swimming area is fantastic, with slides and climbing areas, it was always busy with kids having fun.
Staff were attentive and smiley. Room steward was amazing.
Shows, we saw 3, All were very good. Skywalker being the best and got booked very quickly, so make sure you book up as soon as you get on.
We didn’t do any ship excursions we booked independtly online before the cruise and they were all very good.
Elegant night most people made an effort and dressed up at least smart, but no one was frowned upon if they chose not to.
There are other nationalities on board so be prepared for announcements to be made in multi languages.
Cannot fault anything about this ship, food, staff or MSC. I Wouldn’t hesitate to book MSC again and MSC Seaside is just a big floating beautiful baby.

CozumelThis was a fantastic trip., we had to get s fab to the Beach Bum bike shop from there we were met by our guide, Jose, we had a wonderful easy ride around the beach line of Cozumel, stopped at a Mayan information area, showing you an insight into the Mayan people, we then stopped at a beach bar were were could snorkel for over an hour, first with the guide then without. Would recommend this tour, e-bikes are so easy, no peddaling is required.View All 12,794 Cozumel Cruise Port Reviews

Balmoral Island & Sting Ray ExperienceProbably the least organised of our excursions. We were meant to be met at 0930 for a 10 am prompt departure to the island to check in, a lady turned up at 0945 and with so many people to check in, the boat didn't leave until 10.35, With a 30 min journey to the island and a back on ship time of 3.15, we found the whole day just too rushed. We done the dolphins which were amazing but yr not allowed to take your own photos and they want $117 to buy their ones. Food is €20 for a burger and fries and drinks $10 small beer. So take your own. Too rushed for my liking and wouldn't do this again.View All 88 Balmoral Island & Sting Ray Experience Reviews
River RaftingWe done river tubing., was great fun. Only 5 of us in the group. Not too strenuous, had a wonderful guide called Errol. Lovely to see some countryside on the 40 minutes journey to get to the river.View All 39 River Rafting Reviews
