We have cruised to Bermuda out of Boston for many years, and we are Platinum members, cruising toward the Platinum plus level. We love this cruise so much, we got married on the Majesty (remember that ship?). St George is as lovely as always. Tobacco beach, churches, streets, shops, wench dunking, locals....We revisit there every time. I sometimes sit on the common and imagine the Majesty docked there. This past cruise, we went from St George to the Aquarium and Zoo and it gets better every time. From the Zoo/Aquarium we take the bus to Hamilton, do a bit of shopping and catch the ferry to the dockyard. Great way to spend the full day in beautiful Bermuda. Don't forget the dolphins, museums and mansion at the dockyard, and plenty of shopping.
Just a few small suggestions for the cruise line.... A payoff printout should be embroidered into the Let-It-Ride table in the casino, I have seen it on other NCL ships.
I think that there should be better rewards for Platinum members.
Although times and limitations have come into effect, perhaps looking into a bridge tour for Platinum members and up. I did a bridge tour on the Majesty twice, I even got a pic of me sitting in the Captains chair with a captains hat on.
We always tip the stateroom attendants extra at the end of the cruise, these employees are quite busy and deserve a little recognition for what they go thru. Same if we go to a specialty dining area (Moderno especially). Picture packages are a touch pricey. Enjoy!!!! Worth it!!!!
edharkins’s Full Rating Summary
First time in a mini-suite. Loved it, Plenty of room. We were so impressed with the robes, we purchased two. The room attendant took the order from us and personally delivered them to us. What ever happened to the origamis and the pillow mints?
