Hello all Cruisers: Let me start by saying that this is not my first cruise. However, it was my first cruise with Carnival. Ship: Very old ship and in need of a renovation. Throughout the ship were humidifiers lining the halls for all the moisture from leaks. The ship design also did not allow from easy access to some common areas so it was a bit tedious getting from one place to the next. Cabin: Seemed cleaned until my wife noticed that they made the bed daily but did not change the linens for the entire 7 days (she had a makeup stain from the first night that was still there the last night). That may not be a big deal to many but most hotels change linens at least every 3 days for multi-night stays so I would expect the same on a cruise. Dining: This was a biggest disappointment. After deciding not to eat breakfast in the buffet but in the main dining, under the assumption that the food SHOULD be better, we asked for scrabble eggs with cheese and they brought back lumps of eggs with cheese sprinkled on top. The next day we came back to the main dining and asked for hard boiled eggs, and received eggs with runny yokes. For the entire 7 days I ate salmon for dinner because that seemed to be the only thing on the menu that they consistently got right. We sat and watched as most guests sent back meal after meal or would leave near full plates at the tables. Guy's burgers is also OVERRATED and was a mess. The beef was not seasoned so if you did not add the special sauce the burger lacked flavor and was flat out horrible. Carnival: This was my first and will be my last! I will continue to cruise with Royal Caribbean Cruise line. I know with RCC they will treat you like family not just a guest.

Don't waste your hard earn money (Food was a great disappointment )

Cabin Review

Ocean View
Cabin 6A 1263
where our cabin was located next door was an access point for all the crew members to go in out of which made lots of noise throughout the day and night, or twin size bed was very uncomfortable and not enjoying nor relaxing.

  • Snorkeling
This was an amazing time snorkeling on a private beach, however the beach was small and I wished that they had an actual bar out in the water so you can enjoy it even more. The crew on the private boat did an exactly job making sure to inform us about how long the ride from the ship will take and how long we be able to enjoy the private beach after they pick up other passages from another cruise ship.

This tour was good, however we all got on this tour for the beach at the end only to find out the hard way that the beach was not able to swim in , we all wished the tour guide would've told us that please do not wear no bring your swim clothes on this hot tour......smh

this was very good, however the small private beach that Carnival had for us was very packed and not enjoyable at all.
