Pride of America Cruise Review by silverhorseracing
- Sail Date: June 2019
- Destination: Hawaii
- Cabin Type: Mid-Ship Balcony
Some in our group had been to Hawaii before to see one, or maybe two islands. But none of us had ever been to all the major islands, and bang for the buck, this was the best way to see all of them. Of course we wish we had a week at each port, but we enjoyed every minute of this cruise. Food service was excellent, ship was clean, and everyone seemed happy that we were there. It is a slightly smaller vessel than some of the giant super ships, but that's great because you don't get lost in a sea of thousands of people. It is a little more personal, a little more cozy, and a little less 'commercialized'. I would definitely recommend, and we've been on other lines and other destinations, and this was wonderful. Kauii is called the garden island, but be prepared for rain. The big Island pleasantly surprised us, and Mauii did not disappoint. The submarine excursion was really unique and something that I would recommend, as well as just enjoying what each port has to offer.
silverhorseracing’s Full Rating Summary
Cabin could have been maybe a foot or two more in width, and a little more in depth as we had 3 to a cabin, but overall it was fine. Everything was in good condition and kept clean daily, no complaints.
