Independence of the Seas Cruise Review by Jkingsfc
- Sail Date: June 2019
- Destination: Europe
The whole family really enjoyed this two week cruise to the Italian med. We were all onboard by 11am to enjoy this incredible ship . The balcony cabin was of a good size but was starting to show some signs of wear and tear , however it was kept really clean by our friendly state room attendant. We tried three meal dining package for Chops, Giovanni' s & Japanese restaurants all which were of a really good standard of food and service. The adults in the party all had the beverage package , which if you like a drink are value for money . Around the pools on sea days can get very busy however we always managed to get sunbeds together but we were up and about by 10am in the mornings , after this time you may struggle to get four or more beds together. We went to two shows, the first which was Grease was really enjoyed by us all , the second was an adult comedian who was just ok .
We did two trips , one to Rome which combined the Collesuem and the Roman forum, the other which was my favourite was the tour of Pompeii at Naples . The six people in our party really enjoyed our time on the Independence it has something for everyone , we will definitely sale with RCL again.
