  3. Disney Wonder
Kids age 16 and 17. We had never cruised before and never been to Alaska. We love Disney so this seemed like a good fit. Spent a day in Vancouver both before and after the cruise. Took a guided tour, wonderful city. Embarkation was straightforward, we boarded with no waiting around 12:30pm. The ship is pristine, you would never guess it's 20 years old. Everything literally looks brand new. Cabin had a queen bed and a sofa bunk bed. Small but fine, we were never there except to sleep or change. No window, and we didn't miss it really. The nightly shows truly were spectacular. Great talent and sophisticated technical aspects like sound, special effects, props, and sets. Food was the center of the experience. The rotation dining is fun and the dedicated wait staff of three give you a nice consistency. Food quality was truly excellent. The ship constantly had activities going on, from nature talks to trivia contests. It was all fun, mostly because the cruise activity staff is fun. Cruise Director Natalie is super high energy. We arranged our own port call activities. The kids spent a lot of time in the Teen Club "Vibe" and loved it. We felt safe letting them run around the ship and they were fine. Overall we consider this the best vacation we've ever taken. Highly recommended!!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Inside Stateroom
Cabin 10B 2567
Cabin was small for basically 4 adults, but workable. Separate toilet room and shower room, both with sinks. Sofa turns into a bunk bed. Storage space was fair. There's a slight noise coming from above, sounds like a sump pump or something mechanical. It didn't bother us in terms of sleeping, but we noticed it while awake. Easy access to the midship elevators.
