I choose this cruise because the port of call. It was our 4th cruise 2 with royal Caribbean. The highlight of our trip was dining at main dining room wilfred from india and Jose from the Dominican republic made this cruise 4 stars. Food was surprisingly good and Wilfred was always so helpful with recommendations. We ate there everyday, the kindness and superb service was the best we ever had in a cruise. Bottom line freedom of the seas is an old ship but doable. Food at the buffet breakfast was limited and the same menu for the entire cruise. Shows were just ok, ice show and the comedian kilby was the only one good. I know people complain about announcement about activities but here was super lacking we never knew what was taking place if didn't check the paper. After cruising with Norwegian, royal Caribbean felt flat. Norwegian cruise made me feel like a queen they where always in party mode and Im a middle age lady. Every time we returned to the Norwegian ship from excursion it was a party waiting to greet us they reallyseen happy i was back. Sorry royal Caribbean must of the staff dont look happy. The entertainment for teens were lacking activities, my daughter went one night and found a small group of teenagers kissing and without supervision. As a result my 13year old daughter spent all cruise qith my husband and I. I also want to send a shout out to the singing chef that performed by the pool, your rendition of shine bright like a diamond was amazing sorry Rianna. Lol

Excellent dining experience and nice port of call
