This was supposed to be a celebration of my mom's 73rd Bday...also her first cruise. Disorganization, unprofessional, flat out liars for staff, and no rules about children being supervised enforced...here are examples: 1.Once on board some staff instructed us to go to our cabin for our sea cards...the hallways are closed until 130pm...it was noon. 2.Announcement in the termainal that the maitre d would be available from noon to 3pm for dinner changes, questions...get to dining room to be told he's not available until 1pm. 3.Mom's luggage found our room before 2pm...mine ended up somewhere until 9pm-ish. 4.Lines at the buffet came from every direction, including from beneath my plate since some unsupervised kids decided they could get in line wherever they chose to. Not one staff member anywhere to send them back to their parents or the end of the line. 5.Kids running everywhere. I actually heard a mom tell her one kid not to leave his little brother alone...both kids were still elementary school aged (I know because after the mom left them I asked them). 6.Hot tubs ("spas" as CCL likes to call them) being used as pools by kids...floating inner tubes, jumping off the sides, and splash fights...yes, in hot tubs. 7. Received a coupon for a free 8X10 portrait and frame...tries to redeem and the Pixels employee said the coupon wasn't good until 4pm and to come back...this sounded ludicrous so I got back in another staff member line...yup, she just didn't know how to accept the coupon so she made up a story to not do her job. 8.Purchased a NY City panorama pic for $9.99 around 830pm...told to come back to pick it up between 1030-11pm (last night on ship, too)...got back to be told the printer was broken so I had stood in line for 40min to be refunded my money...not even a sorry accompanied this. 9. All the areas of a ship to have kids running around dancing and bopping balloons and CCL chose the Breeze Atrium bar floor so the parents could again let their unruly brats run wild while they drank. 10. It's a free for all to get off the ship at every port. Either hang out on deck 3 two hours before disembark or wait an hour after to avoid the pushing and shoving in the halls and on the stairs. 11. There is no rhyme or reason to where you start a port excursion. Just keep following everyone and pray it's your group. And be prepared to pay $15 for a locker at Dolphinaris and also $200+ for the pictures. Now the food...stick to Guy's Burgers because other than the shrimp cocktail in the main dining rooms the food is horrible. The show the staff put on in the dining room is fun to watch. The cabin is smaller than my college dorm room with even less storage and the balcony is the size of a closet. At least our steward, Dar, was friendly and attentive. The comedians were great. Didn't see any of the shows.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8B 6285
I think my Barbie Dreamhouse had more room. Do not overpack! There are only 3 small drawers on the wall unit, and the 2 closets afford you 9 hangers each. The one storage cabinet has shelving, but it's difficult not to lose track of what's in there because the shelves are so big (think look new closet). The bathroom has 3 small shelving units on each side of the mirror, but no other storage. Also, the whole room has one outlet with two plugs...bring an adapter with dual chargers and two outlets on it...ours was not confiscated. Do not rely on the TV for room entertainment.
