Carnival Splendor Cruise Review by CruiseRookiesCom
This was our second trip this year on the Carnival Splendor and we were very happy with the number and quality of live music venues and performances, the food in both the restaurants and the buffet, and the service throughout. For live music they played a lot of classic rock as well as quite a bit from the 1980's and 1990's. We are not big fans of Latin Jazz, but if you are into that, they did feature quite a bit of that too. Unlike our Hawaii trip in January, the internet worked quite well throughout his entire cruise. It wasn't perfect but it worked as well as most of my other cruises. We'll be taking one more trip on the Carnival this year in October, the Transpacific from Long Beach to Singapore. We are looking forward to our return to this ship and spending 24 days on it. If we didn't love it so much we would not be willing to spend 24 days on, especially with very few port stops on that cruise.
CruiseRookiesCom’s Full Rating Summary
Plenty of room in the cabin with great views from the balcony. This Balcony Cabin is located very close to the Lido Midship Pool and the Lido Buffet. If you are bothered by noise up until midnight, this cabin might not be for you. It is right next to the elevators and right above the open Atrium Lounge so you can here the live music from that lounge right up through the last performance. My wife and I love live music and would sometimes leave our cabin door ajar just to hear the live music better.
