What we enjoyed : Aqua Class Exclusive access to BLU restaurant , priority access to Thermal Suite and Spa facilities. Services Excellent service of staff, approachable and in general very helpful. Food Good to so-so depends on the menu and restaurants. Overall a bit too salty and sweat. The buffet is between Mirage Las Vegas to Wynn, somewhere in between. Cabin Technology - Cellphone App can control blinds, veranda, lighting, temperature. App also can show expense accounts, look up decks, activities, and daily menu of all restaurants. Daily recap video of Cruise Directors, shopping guide, and live map about whereabouts/speed on TV. Key highlight was the ship's Master / Captain Costa's one hour presentation on the second last day about how cruise ship operates, the organizational structure and changing industry trends including gender equality, ship's design for environmental considerations such as waste processing and GHG etc. What we hope to see improvement Food Oceanview Cafe ( Buffet) 1. Selection of food, especially on the Asian cuisine side hope to see a bit more availability of Chinese, Korean and Japanese selections. Too many repeat items over the 11 nights over three meals. 2. Reduce amount of sugar for deserts such as cake, tarts, ice cream and cookie, we found too sweat for most items. Le Petit Chef 3. Reduce sodium for some food, we found beef dishes in general are a bit salty across all restaurants. Raw on 5 We didnt try, but not very appealing based on what we have seen on the menu and on display. Entertainment Eden : it is just a bit too abstract for us to understand the concept. Excursion The tour to Nafplio ( Nauplion) was the first time Celebrity has ever been to. The town itself is wonderful and very pretty to stroll through and spend some time for photo and souvenirs. However, We feel Celebrity and tour operator should think about how to develop more for the town maybe like agri-tourism to visit to orchard or groves. There are basically three major spots that you can go, we went on with the Palamidi Fortress and Epidarus, the tour guide mentioned that they came from Athens 4 in the morning. The tour itself dont really going to take more than 3.5 hours all together which our tour guide spent a lot of time talking instead of walking ( also we were very disappointed about a nearby restaurant of Epidarus which the owner/server who told our guide and everyone about offering $3Euro for a cup of orange juice but then charged everyone $4 Euro, some paid some didnt, just on the principle side we dont enjoy being scammed). As a result, we are see the excursion can be improved. I am not sure if Celebrity will return to Nafplio, this port requires tender and Edge had to use its own tender/life boat for the job. Apparently cruise-tourism has not been developed here.

Great ship design

Very nice and modern design of cabin, spacious with ample lighting. Bathroom is designed with maximum possible space ( i.e at least can turn around and have two people doing two different things).

Flat screen TV with live camera and maps about ship location and speed, also linked to Cellphone App and expense account.

Very comfy bed and pillows.

Very attentive cabin attendant

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Acropolis
The Acropolis itself is wonderful and definitely worth time and effort for photos.

However, the tour operator asked people to go into a local "Shop" and stopped there for like 20 minutes. I understand about this but if it is part of the itinerary, then Celebrity or the tour operator should specify such in the description.

There are many shops around the port that worth exploring but dont have enough time.

The tour itself was Olympia and visit to Magna Greta Olive farm. We enjoyed the tour.

  • St. John's Cathedral
Overall good visit to Mdina and the cathedral. However the tour dont have a radio or something so very hard to follow what the tour lady says. All other tours all had radio issued so even if people are dispersed all over, they can still follow.

You can skip this one, unless you are super excited about this.

  • Island of Delos
Our guide Angela was super passionate about the history of Delos so she spent a lot of time explaining details about ruins , and she rather people spending time enjoying the archeological site versus shopping. The tour itself included a late lunch ( around 2 pm as we were told that is the usual Greek lunch hour) in a restaurant next the to Ano Mera Monstry.

The Ano Mera Monstry, in my opinion can be skipped , you can just do the Delos island and spend time in the town, unless you are super excited about Church or Monatry.

  • Nafplion
The town itself is wonderful and good for a stroll of shopping and photos.

However the tour to Palamidi fortress and Epidarus are just a bit below my expectation, since the tour operator sent a bus and guide from Athen, not local and the tour lady was spending time talking about a lot of things instead walking people through the site. The tour was marketed for like 5-6 hours, but in fact less than 3.5 hours it can be done, also it was probably the most expensive one at $179 USD, definitely not a good value for money as we had a tour in Myknos including Delos island and greek lunch for less than that price.

Naples itself has a lot of potential, we spent like 4 hours walking and finding a local restaurant.

  • Rome (Civitavecchia)
This port is simply too far away from Rome Airport or Rome city centre, if you want to go from the port to the airport by train/rail then you have to transfer in Termini first then go back to airport.

However, the Airpot Transfer NCC Airport was very repliable and we used their services both ways for 70Euro for two.

  • Oia Village
The tour guide Jacob was very good, very attentive and always reminded people about staying close and looking out for pick-pocket.

We were just not very impressed with some of the shops in Santorini given it is a tourist hotspot.
