  3. Oasis of the Seas
Our 10+ cruises have all been on Carnival. We decided to try Royal Caribbean, even though it was a long drive to Port Canaveral. Wow, was it worth it! The entertainment on Oasis far exceeded what we expected: professional ice skating show, professional aqua/high diving show, & other fantastic shows. We were apprehensive about service & lines, since Oasis is one of the largest of all ships. But you'd never have known. Even the elevators moved smoothly. We chose and had early dining, seated with 2 friends that accompanied us. I thought the food was great; however, they were more critical. For sure, the waiters were very good. We were disappointed in the one RC excursion we went on at St. Maarten: a catamaran with 2 stops for snorkeling. There were no fish to see. At St. Thomas, on our own, we took a taxi to Coki Beach, which has some of the best snorkeling anywhere! Fish come & eat right out of your hand! My wife said it was the highlight of her trip. Next month on June 9 we are again cruising on Royal Caribbean, this time on Harmony of the Seas, a nearly identical ship to Oasis. We're so excited about it. A perfect vacation!

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony
Cabin 2D I forget
We had an ocean view balcony room, 2 single beds, & couch. We won't pay extra for a balcony again, because we really did not use it. An ocean view window would have been just as good. Our Stewart was great, great service, clean room.
