We returned from our 7 day Western Caribbean vacation on the Breakaway two days ago and we haven't stopped talking about what a great time we had. From the ease of the embarkation until the smoothest debarkation we've ever experienced (21 cruises). the entire trip was fantastic!! With our booking we received the specialty dining package, 250 free internet minutes (which worked quickly), onboard credit. excursion credit, and the ultimate beverage package for 99.00. ($400.00 plus for the week on Carnival and Royal Caribbean). Food at all specialty restaurants was superb!! Le Bistro, Ocean Blue and Cagney's were our choices and they did not disappoint. {There is an additional 12 dollar charge at Ocean Blue because they give you a five course meal} At the buffet the food was excellent and we never had to wait for a table. The nights when we did not eat at the specialty restaurants we ate at Taste or Savor and enjoyed the experience there very much. Plenty of elevators which serviced the ship and we never waited long to get one. Lots of deck chairs all over the ship but of course, those by the pools are taken early. Pool is small but active with music playing all the time. The activities on board kept us going all day. Lots of trivia, games, participation events, dance contests, name that tune, newlywed game, deal or no deal, cooking , art lectures, wine tasting, drawing classes, fitness center, spa....you name it. There is a comedy club and the dueling pianos lounge was tons of fun. Everyone singing and enjoying the music and each other We enjoyed the casino with a variety of slot machines and tournaments. J.C. was a great cruise director, and the staff was exceptional. All were friendly, helpful, fun. Announcements were kept to a minimum which was nice. My only "con" is about the itinerary where we feel that the western caribbean is the most boring. Excursions from the ship are expensive and not worth the money in our opinion. We found Harvest Caye delightful and well designed and the water was lovely. We are looking into booking another NCL next year.....the price for everything you get is well worth it.

Spectacular vacation!!!!

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MB 10236
small but plenty or room for storage. Bathrooms are larger in the mini suite but other than that, they seem to be the same size as the regular balcony.
Deck 10 Inside Cabins, Outside Cabins, Balcony Cabins, Suite Cabins
