I chose this cruise as an introduction to Royal Caribbean after 2 sailings on Disney and 1 on Holland America. I was looking for a ship with plenty of activities, a good mix of people of all ages and interests, and with an itinerary we hadn't yet tried. This sailing checked all of the boxes, so I booked it. We booked a Guarantee Balcony Stateroom, and were assigned to a specific room about 30 days before we sailed. Our room was on Deck 10, all the way aft, which meant I earned at least 10,000 steps every single day. It also meant I could have dessert each night. Embarkation was a breeze! We arrived at around 10:45am, and with a security check (somehow the magnetic hooks triggered the security scan) and a bathroom break, we were on the ship in about 15-20 minutes. So easy! The stateroom was clean and new, and while I had heard the sofa would have a trundle, it did not. This stateroom only slept 3, which was fine but not ideal for us. The shows on this ship were amazing. Best shows I have ever seen on a cruise, for sure. The food in the main dining rooms as great. No complaints! Our serving team was great, and they took excellent care of us. The ports and excursions were great. No complaints. Debarkation was a breeze as well. Facial recognition and self-debarkation had us off the ship and in a taxi in 15 minutes or less. Great cruise!

We booked a few hours of service at the Bahamas Humane Society through an organization called Hope Floats. They have volunteer opportunities on many of the cruise ship ports. We took a taxi to the Humane Society and spent time bathing puppies, playing with kittens, and walking dogs. They have an on-site veterinary clinic and so many different animals... including pigs, turtles, and ducks!

They are doing excellent work there and I highly recommend donating your time to their organization. If you go, please check what supplies they need and consider bringing them. They are always in need. Contact Hope Floats to see where you can volunteer in the Caribbean. No, I am not affiliated with them at all, I just wish more people knew about this.

Royston took us all over St. Kitts in his vehicle, and showed us things the other tours do not see. Royston is an amazingly kind person who is very proud of his island, and he wants to share it with everyone. He bought lunch from his friend, and we ate at the fortress. This was a fantastic excursion and I highly recommend it.

This was a good excursion. We spent more time going to and from the snorkel sites than we spent actually snorkeling. The leader dove down and found some cool things to show us. We did see a turtle, and a sting ray, but there weren't a lot of fish. The shipwreck was cool, also, and we did see a barracuda there.
