The Bliss lived up to all the hype. It was Eastern Caribbean to St Thomas, Tortola, and Bahamas. Embarking was the only disappointment. We boarded right at noon and went to sign up for the Race Track and some comedy shows. The first slot for the Race Track we could book was Thursday at 5PM. I think NCL should take a lesson from Disney and adopt some type of fast pass system. We did book Jersey Boys and Havana before boarding, and we were able to book a comedy show. Our room was an Aft Balcony. Can't beat the sunsets. Specialty Dining was excellent at Cagney's for Filet, Tepanyaki's for Hibachi Steak and Q for Texas BBQ. The band that played at Q was disappointing. I felt like they were the country band that performed with Belushi in the Blues Brothers Movie. I would have preferred this century Country music, or, even a DJ. Best excursion was Turtle Cove Snorkeling in the Cat VI. We saw quite a few turtles and the crew was excellent pointing out all the islands and telling what fish to look for in the water. Another excursion we went on was Virgin Gorda Baths at Tortola. I enjoyed it, but, the reviews I had read said it was too crowded. They were correct, too many people.

I love the back of the ship, so, excellent cabin. Our Steward, David, was very pleasant and was very happy to comply with a couple requests we had, and was on top of things.

It was 17 degrees before I left for my cruise, so, I wanted 1 more chance to stick my feet in the ocean. We arrived at Atlantis and made our way through the beautiful aquarium. At the end, we made our way through the grounds and had a quick dip and a little more sunshine before heading back to the ship.

We booked Turtle Cove on The Cat VI to Buck Island. The Crew was knowledgeable and entertaining, telling us what Islands we were passing and other points of interest. Once at Buck Island, we photographed many turtles, fish and beautiful coral. I have been on many cruises, this was my favorite excursion.

Although, I was not happy with the crowds and slow lines at The Baths, I did enjoy this excursion. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the water was amazing at Devils Bay. After a refreshing swim, the crowd headed to the rock formations. It was very slow moving, but, I did have a good day.
